Glock 30 Gen 4 .45 ACP Pistol, Black – UG3050201

My previous experience with Glock pistols is with a Gen 3 17 and a Gen 4 19. The 17 is a smooth shooter with the 19 just a little snappier. When I got bought the G30, I was expecting the recoil to be at least a little harsher than the G19 since it has a shorter grip and in my experience 45 pistols usually kick harder than 9mm. I shot my G30 the first time today and I'd swear this thing shoots even softer than my G17 (let alone the G19). I love the way this gun handles and will probably get another as a backup (was previously considering a second G17).

I own several handguns all of which does not include a Glock so I set out to change that. I have never been a Glock fan but my purchase of the Glock 30 has changed my mine. I’ve compared this gun at the range with the Smith & Wesson M&P shield .45 and I have to say the Glock 30 is a much smoother shooter. The recoil is very manageable, and allows for quicker target acquisition. I love the 10 round capacity in a small package. This is a great gun. Grab a Gun has the best price on this gun, trust me I did my homework.

The only thing I didn't like were the plastic sights however, I bought new steel ones and installed them.
