Brand: Glock
Model: G17 G5
Caliber: 9mm
Capacity: 17
Barrel Length: 4.49″
The new frame design of the GLOCK 17 Gen5 removed the finger grooves for more versatility but still allows to easily customize its grip by using the different back straps. A flared mag-well and a cutout at the front of the frame give the user more speed during reloading when fractions of a second matter. A reversible enlarged magazine catch, changeable at user level as well as the ambidextrous slide stop lever accommodate left and right-handed operators. The rifling and the crown of the barrel were slightly modified for increased precision.

1 year agoBought this wonderful Glock 17 Gen 5 about a month ago and am impressed. I have put about 200+ rounds of 115 grain Federal and 50 rounds 147 grain Winchester Hollow point and have had zero malfunctions. I plan on keeping this gun a long time and being my first Glock…let’s just say I’m a fan now. I love the simplicity and value of this pistol, as well as the 17 round capacity. You get 3 magazines, a speed loader, hard shell case, back straps etc. I would recommend this pistol to anyone who wants a reliable home defense/target practice weapon.

1 year agoGlock has always been my choice. I was a competitive shooter 20+ years ago, and used Glock 17, and now I still use Glock 17. It’s not too heavy, and is extremely reliable. This both for competition and self defense. You can’t go wrong with a Glock, but make sure it fits your hands, and also your budget.

1 year agoPerfect size reliability and 18 rounds. I feel safe without standing out. Or having to switch magazines less Incase the is a reason to expend that many rounds. Switching mags while firing decreases accuracy if not by 15% that's enough to make a huge difference in competition shooting.

1 year agoI carried a Glock 17 for 20+ years on a security job. We had our own range facilities and had to do a qualification at least once every 10 weeks. All of our Glocks went through about 1000 rounds per year with very little, if any, problems. I expect similar results with my purchase.

1 year agoIt’s a Glock, what can go wrong. Only complaint I would have would be I’d like the option of adjustable sights to come with the pistol. Never did like fixed sights.

1 year agoA Glock is a 5 star weapon. Unless you sell it with 10 round mags in a Red state. That drops the rating to a 4. Actually the Glock should remain a 5 star rating while the seller, Cabela's, gets a 3 for selling 10 round mags in Arizona.

1 year agoWhat can I say. It’s a Glock. Reliable. But in FDE. This is a Glock OEM FDE frame. That means it’s FDE all the way through and not a cerakote (paint) that can scratch off. The color is a darker FDE. Almost brown.
