The new frame design of the GLOCK 17 Gen5 removed the finger grooves for more versatility but still allows to easily customize its grip by using the different back straps. A flared mag-well and a cutout at the front of the frame give the user more speed during reloading when fractions of a second matter. A reversible enlarged magazine catch, changeable at user level as well as the ambidextrous slide stop lever accommodate left and right-handed operators. 1 year agoBetter than the 4 Gen model. Bought mine last year at Albuquerque NM. Up graded my model with better lighter connectors and spring kits. Have extended side stop and mag release also extended here. Placed ruffer tape on grip area. Out shoot most peopl with this model. I belong to the GSSF. Armorer class twice in California for Glock. Own 2 gen 17, 5 gen 17, 3gen 21, 3 gen 30sf, 3 gen 34, 3gen 35. Have conversions to 10mm for glock 21, glock 30. Work on friends glocks for fun.

1 year agoThe color is a bit more yellow-ish/FDEish than it seems in the picture. Overall this gun is a champ. I've tried several different kinds of ammo through it and it runs flawlessly. It's also a blast to shoot and is very accurate. This is my first Glock and I can already tell it won't be my last.
