2 years agoI shot 8 rounds and everyone of the slugs tumbled. Even at 30 yards the slug went through the target sideways. I would love to return the 120 rounds I bought.

2 years agoThis load shoots at the advertised feet per second but key holes at 25 yards. as said in the past I'll give it one star because every round has fired. Good grief if loaded this ammo I would be ashamed of myself. The only thing that keeps me from flipping my lid is that at least I have once fired brass to use in my Henry Single shot rifle. I'm wondering if the lead bullet is out of spec. Should be .459 shoots like its a .452. You get the point. Expensive way to gain Brass.

2 years agoI purchased 100 rounds of Grizzly Cartridge 45/70 Govt, 405gr RNFP ammunition and have fired 25 of those through a brand-new, mint-condition Henry lever action 45/70 rifle with a 20" barrel and 1:20 rate of twist. The ammo was extremely smoky and also left heavy leading in my barrel. But the worst part was that each and every one of the fired bullets was KEYHOLING downrange. I do not know whether it is because of the load specifications or simply a defective batch, but this is unacceptable for

2 years agoThe box states 1000 fps but I don't think so? The bullets key hole into the target at 50 yards! I was using in my Henry 45/70 ever action. I have not had any problems with any other ammo.

2 years agoHits point of aim in my 1886 Browning 45-70. Ultra low recoil, sounds like a 22 mag rifle. Uses Starline brass which is nice, but when I picked up all my brass they had jagged edges around the top that will require a decent amount of trimming. Other than that nice cartridges, would recommend to anyone.

1 year agoI bought these rounds for my Henry 45-70 brass side gate carbine. I am very satisfied with this product. They are consistent and accurate . The quality and price are very good.
