2 years agoNice gun for target and plinking. Definitely finicky on ammo it eats. Stick with CCI HV and you don’t experience any FTF, FTE.

1 year agoNot super accurate but ok. Changed the tallest front sight to the medium one included in the box and it shoots better. Kinda picky with ammo. Seems to shoot Remington thunderbolts the best with little to no failures to feed or eject. Good gun overall at the price point.

1 year agoGun is great. Bought for wife and she loves it. Easy to shoot, very ACCURATE. No Issues. It has some good weight to it does not feel like a plastic toy. Only comes with 1 mag. Great gun to add to any collection. Great for new shooters or more ADVANCED.

1 year agoI had to grab some sandpaper and a can of mother's polish and spend a few hours 'fixing' the feed ramp. Look online, lots of instructions on how to do it. After that, I only have maybe 1 in 20 stovepipe jams, as long as you use CCI mini-mags. I've tried other ammo and the failure rate is as high as 1 in 3. Great for practicing at the range while 9mm rounds are at/over $0.50 each. I would never, ever, ever recommend this for defense.

1 year agoGreat gun. Shoots well and has a fantastic hand feel. This gun is "carry worthy". Has the weight of a larger gun. Great investment.

1 year agoShot about 100 rounds so far and it shoots great. Fun to shoot. Girlfriend really likes shooting it.

1 year agoMy only complaint--- and it's enough to knock the Firefly down 1 star--- is I've had several failures with chambering, extracting and ejecting. I have followed GSGs guidelines to only use high velocity ammo., but still had issues. I suspect this has as much to do with the ammo itself as it does the pistol---a finicky pistol---definitely not like my Ruger Mark III which shoots anything. All that said, 90% successful fire rate which is good enough for 4 stars. I would purchase again solely based on how excellent this is at mimicking the Sig Sauer 226.

1 year agoVery happy with this purchase! Great little pistol,no problems when using recommended ammunition. If I need to change ammo type the firefly includes a spring in the box behind the foam protector for this next to the manual and other useful bits!

1 year agoI had 4 failures to feed, and two stovepipes with the first mag I shot. With some research, I think I might have come up with the cure. Disassemble your mag, and twist the spring 180 deg. This will slightly change the feed angle. Worked for me. I love this pistol now.

1 year agoNice pistol. Well balanced. Shoots every bit as good as my walther p22 but at half the price. I've put a few hundred rounds through this with zero problems. Tight groups. Wish extra mags weren't so spendy.

1 year agoI have read some bad reviews on this pistol but I could not ask for the one I have to shoot any better. just use around 1250 fps .22lr ammo & it will shoot fine.

1 year agoI bought my Firefly from a local retailer. It is a great little gun with a few small issues. It is picky on ammo, unless you file and polish the feed ramp. I used a rotary tool and a small stone to smooth out the sharp edges, then a polishing wheel a polished the ramp to a mirror finish. The pistol feeds any ammo now very reliably. I have had a few failure to fires which just required a second trigger pull to light them off. Overall a great, fun plinker for the money.

1 year agoBought this gun in January and was able to take it out and shoot today. Was on target right out of box and grouped well. Had 2 extra magazines and they all cycled with no problems. Shot CCI minimags just fine. I liked the sights. Easy to get on target. Trigger was a little rough but was a lot of fun to shoot. Look forward to my wife trying it as well. Very pleased!!! Thanks Palmetto!!!

1 year agoThis pistol is mediocre...it will run pretty consistently as long as you use high velocity ammo like federal bulk or Winchester wildcat...just not very accurate at all...on mine the rear sight is loose and moves around causing inaccuracies....grouping is all over the place when compared to my taurus tx22...it is a fun gun but the overall appearance is it looks like a toy...it's fairly heavy but looks cheaper than other polymer guns...overall it's decent would give 3.5 stars if that was an option

1 year agoGreat gun but mine came with only two ne mag. I emailed and ask it it was correct, no reply asked if I could buy one no reply. Testable customer service

1 year agoI’ve only put about 300 rounds through it. There has definitely been a few FTE, but I have been using 1200fps mussel velocity ammo and it’s recommended to use 1250FPS high velocity. Due to the ammo shortage 1200FPS was the highest velocity I could find. When the gun cycles it works great and is fun to shoot. I’m on the lookout for high velocity .22LR rounds.

1 year agoI saw a number of negative reviews online but decided to purchase one of these pistols anyway. It was a great price, worked flawlessly right out of the box with a variety of ammo.
