All USPs feature a fiberreinforced polymer frame stiffened by stainless steel inserts at areas subject to stress and friction. HK pioneered this use of polymer materials in the production of handguns more than 30 years ago with the development of the VP70Z and P9S pistols. The USP control lever a combination safety and decocking lever is frame mounted and quickly accessible unlike the slidemounted safeties common on many semiautomatic pistols. Using a modified Browningtype action with a special patented recoil reduction system the USP recoil reduction system reduces recoil effects on pistol components and also lowers the recoil forces felt by the shooter. Variant 1 is double actionsingle action with SAFE position control lever manual safetydecocking lever is mounted on left side of the frame. This model comes with night sights and three 3 12round magazines.

2 years agoGreat gun, always look forward to owning one finally got up enough money to buy one went out and shot it took a couple ejecting brass right between my eyes maybe it's my grip maybe it's the ammo I don't know I'll try it again

2 years agoI have owned several hk usp 45's in my life but sold them all to buy different guns, but none of the other guns measured up to the usp 45 in craftsmanship and ease of disassembly for cleaning the gun, i still prefer my sig sauer p227 w/ short reset trigger but the sig is not easy to disassemble and clean, i wish my new hk usp 45 w/ night sights came in better condition, it had some small scratches near the front sight where you can see where they were puting the front sight on !!! overall an amazing gun and i bought a hk match trigger kit to install on it asap !!! love hk's

2 years agoThis is a great handgun. It will eat any ammo you feed it and is ultra reliable. Highly recommend the HK USP.
