The VP9 Tactical OR stands out with its 4.7” hammer-forged barrel with threaded muzzle and suppressor-height tritium sights. These sights provide a day or night lower 1/3 co-witness through the window of a red dot sight while remaining visible over the top of most suppressors. Additionally, this model includes an optics cut that, when combined with one of five available adapter plates, accepts the most popular red dot sights. Just add the appropriate suppressor and/or optic with no additional modifications needed.
Add this to the standard VP9 customizable grip and you have a pistol that can adapt to any situation or any shooter.

1 year agoFrom the store to the range to try out an Octane 9 suppressor. Great with the suppressor, failed to eject every round of subsonic 160 grain without suppressor. Worked fine with 115 grain WWB. I guess there is a 500 round break in period and recommendation to leave the slide locked open over night, and use 124 grain +p. I will update after leaving the slide open and a cleaning. I thought it would eat everything but we will see. I would not reach for this gun if needed for home defense until it shoots without problems.

1 year agoThis is an update review. Cleaned after the first range trip (New in Box) and it has yet to have a problem with 1000+ rounds and keeping the slide locked open while stored in its case.

1 year agoSilencer height sights, threaded barrel, optic ready, great trigger, perhaps one of the most customizable grips, accuracy is spot on. You can feel the difference between what German design and engineering is vs it's competitors.

1 year agoPurchased this right before Christmas 2022, all I can say is wow, I love the VP9 Tactical. Feels so good in the hand, and love the ambidextrous features considering I’m wrong handed. Shoots super accurate. Added a Holosun and Stream Light as well. Going to get a suppressor for it and will make the perfect nightstand/home defense pistol.

1 year agoI went back and forth between this H&K and a Glock but this felt so good in my hand I couldn't pass it up. Now with close to 1000 rounds through I have zero regrets. First this pistol shoots as good as you can and with each weekly trip to the range, I am rewarded with tighter groupings. I have found the sweet ammo for this is 124 grain FMJ or HP. Also, this pistol likes to be kept clean so clean and lube after every one or two times out. If you are on the fence about spending the extra $ for this pistol, my recommendation is go for it- you will have no regrets.

1 year agoAt first I was a little hesitant on spending over $1000 on a pistol that wasn't custom, but all that hesitation faded within seconds after opening the box and holing it for the first time. I have a respectable number of pistols in my collection, and this is hands down my absolute favorite. The ergonomics on the VP9T are the best I have ever felt, and it is truly ambidextrous out of the box. The only down side (for some people) may be the paddle mag release. Personally, I am a fan and almost

1 year agoFirst saw this pistol in John Wick 1. My patrol partner at the time then purchased it and introduced it to me, the minute I placed this pistol in my hand I knew I wanted one for myself, but at the time these were not optic ready, so I patiently waited. Fast forward to now, I was wanting a higher tier pistol so after going back and fourth between this and a staccato, and test firing both weapons with friends, I remembered back to the first time I held the VP9 and how natural and balanced it felt

1 year agoThis gun is super reliable and the trigger is second to none. The adjustable grip makes this more than fit but an extension of your arm.
