2 years agoExcellent craftsmanship. This is my second Henry. I've had several Marlin and Winchester in the past. Henry greatly exceeds them. Had it out to the range once so far. I bought the .357 Magnum caliber. It had a hard time chambering some rounds at first. But after some shooting, a disassembly and lube it's much smoother. The only things I would prefer is a lighter barrel. Even in Carbine length, it's quite hefty. And it needs a more visible front sight. It's fun to shot. One of those guns you want to take with you again next time you go to the range.

2 years agoBeautiful metal, beutiful wood, smooth action and no malfunctions during its first 250 or so rounds. From bench will put all rounds through one ragged hole at25 yards (indoor range). I am 5'11", 185 lbs and the stock fits like a custom job. Trigger breaks at @ 4 lbs with no creep and little over travel . A joy to shoot offhand. Love it!
