If the thought of carrying a rifle up a mountain or through thick brush is weighing you down, take a load off. Introducing the Henry Big Boy Carbine, a modern carry-over of the Trapper classics of the past. It combines all the features of our legendary Big Boy rifle with the quick handling of a shorter, lighter carbine barrel length – losing almost a pound in barrel weight. It’s the ideal brush gun for tight spaces, but don’t let its compact size fool you. The shorter barrel gives up nothing in accuracy to the regular Big Boy. And like our classic Big Boy the attention to detail in the design features great Western styling including a large loop lever that makes holding this rifle as thrilling as it is to shoot. The 16-1/2 inches octagonal barrel is outfitted with a classic fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight with a reversible white diamond insert and a brass beaded front-sight. The tubular magazine tops off at 7 rounds. Both the straight-grip stock and forearm are crafted of select American walnut accented with a brass barrel band and Henry’s recognizable brass receiver. All have the crisp, smooth action that sets an authentic American-made Henry apart from other lever action rifles on the range and in the woods today. Whether you’re looking for the perfect gun to saddle up with or hunt with, the Henry Big Boy Carbine is the big shot in a small package you’ve been waiting for.

1 year agoMagazine tube with not align with the dog in and the extractor has a piece slightly broken. For $900, henry needs to step up their quality control, They've basically left me with an unusable gun. Trying to send it back for repairs.

1 year agoBeen airing for years to find this gun. Took it apart to clean it and found all the parts rusted. Sent it to Henry to be address. A month into ownership and haven’t been able to shoot it.

1 year agoI am absolutely thrilled to have purchased my Henry Big Boy 44 magnum and would absolutely recommend it to friends and family. I am able to handle the rifle with ease and minimal recoil. I have no dislikes at this time.

1 year agoAlthough I haven't taken it to the range yet, I don't need to fire it to know it's a high quality gun. It is a beautiful rifle and I really like the slightly smaller size it is being a Carbine. Looks great, feels great and the action is as smooth as a babies butt! I can't wait to get out and shoot it. I've got some full water jugs that are dying to be vaporized!

1 year agoI’ve had it out just once at the range for target practice. Works as advertised. I was fairly accurate which I felt was great, since I hadn’t fired a weapon since ‘06 when I retired from the Air Force. You may want a boot over the stock butt since the brass plate doesn’t offer much comfort. I need to work on my shoulder placement. I was left with a considerable bruise although there wasn’t much pain from the kick. Overall, I love it and couldn’t be more pleased!

1 year agoIn today's world this rifle is a work of art, and the fact that it's made in my home state is even better.
