Great firearm. Great factory sights. .45 Colt is an overlooked cartridge. Looking forward to dialing in reloading options for cowboy plinking and hotter hunting/defense rounds. Staff at Tacoma Bass Pro firearm counter were a pleasure to deal with.

I've been wanting a Henry lever gun since I was a kid, and I'm glad I got one of these. Smooth action, great sights, and a pleasure to shoot. Aside from the rifle, the folks at the Avon, OH Cabela's counter were all wonderful. It was nice to walk up to a gun counter and not encounter the dour, uninterested staff that plagues a lot of gun stores these days.

Slim and compact; handles easily. The action is decent and should smooth out even more in time. Love the fiber optic sights! Seems accurate, so far. Also love that the barrel is threaded for my “accessory” that will be released to me later this year. This rifle is in very high demand and hard to get, but be patient and don’t give up…it’s worth it!

Excellent lever action rifle. High quality build for a great gun that looks like it will last for many years. My only complaint would be if you load rounds through the side gate it scratches the receiver and the gate itself that shows clearly against the blued steel. Other than this I absolutely love the rifle. The action is so smooth, Henry is doing a great job on the build of these rifles. If you purchase one, you will not be disappointed.

I love this rifle. I enjoy it more than any other rifle. The action is so smooth, the accuracy is amazing, and I love the sound it makes on the metal gong at 100 yards!

I’ve been looking for a Henry Big Boy X in 357 mag / 38 spl, for at least 4 months and at a price that I didn’t feel taken advantage of! I finally did and I couldn’t be happier, until I got to Bass Pro I’m Hanover store the customer service is what I was most impressed with! If you have a good product I’ll buy from you but if you have good customer service I will always buy from you! Bass Pro be seeing you soon!

Obtained this rifle and downed a nice buck at about 100 yards in a full run with the open iron sights that came on the gun. With the +P ammo nothing gets away that has been hit properly.

I wanted to put together a “tactical” lever gun so I started with this. Really it is a nice gun right out of the box but I added several accessories. The stOck sights are quite good and you can attach a light or whatever on the small M-lok or picAtinny rail on the facTory foregrip. As always, the sale and Shipment were fast and easy!

This rifle is accurate, has a smooth action, and the most enjoyable target practicing rifle I've ever used. I only wish it could hold more rounds but I think the versatility is a fantastic trade-off.

Excellent quality rifle. Smooth action and decent trigger, the fiber optic sights are OK, better than Buckhorns at least. Added a Ranger Point Precision peep sight on mine, combined with the front fiber optic sight it's a very fast on target rifle. With my handloads it's been very effective on feral hogs and the 2 Whitetail does I've shot. Very accurate with 300gr bullet loads that I've worked up for my Ruger Redhawk 45 Colt.

Awesome gun it's weird I hear Let's Go Brandon when I pull the trigger. The Ranger Point hand guard is awesome to.

Really solid rifle. Out of the box it’s dead on at 100 yards. Compact and lightweight. Little to no recoil.

Fun gun to shoot but it is shooting way to the right and I can’t adjust the open sights far enough to compensate.

I am absolutely loving it. It feeds buttery smooth with every handloaded lead projectile I have fed it. So far the accuracy has been excellent after only minor sight adjustments for my specialty loads. The fit of the composite stock is excellent and it should handle our very damp climate well. I hope to add some accessories like a top Pic. rail in the future for a red-dot. I highly recommend others to consider this modern style lever gun in areas where weather is hard on wood stocks.

Love the Henry 45 colt. Added a leupold fx ii ultralight and Surefire x300 ultra predator light for coyote hunting. Sportsman Warehouse was great to work with. Smooth transaction. Even got money back because retail price went down. Will definitely purchase again from Sportsman Warehouse. Thanks

Awesome lever action and very accurate. I put my Rugged Obsidian 45 suppressor on it and it felt and sounded like I was shooting a .22. I was indicted for a while but I’m glade I went with the 45 LC. Such a wide range of options for ammo.
