The H009B has a visually impressive 20″ octagon barrel and a handsome brass receiver and brass barrel band. Both rifles are drilled and tapped for easy scope mounting. The magazine holds five rounds that chamber quickly and smoothly thanks to their crisp, perfectly machined action.

2 years agoI've always been a fan of Henry rifles. So, this was an obvious choice for a 30-30. The brass adds an old west charm most rifles don't have, it feeds ammo smoothly, it's accurate and just all around comfortable to hold and shoot.

2 years agoReally nice lever action gun. Made the way Winchester and Marlin used to be made. Thank you Grab-a-gun for a great price and fast shipping as always!

2 years agoWhat can be said! Its a henry! Smooth action right out Of the box. Easy to sight in too. Its a hefty weapon. Feels good though. Beautiful wooden stocks. the octAgon barrel is always a point of discussion at the range.

2 years agoHenry Repeating Arms has been running an ad campaign for about three years so I got their catalog and I picked out the brass model .30-.30, It is even prettier than it shows in the pictures. It is fun shooting a firearm that is a part of America's heritage.

2 years agoI really like the Henry rifle, and simply thank it is one of best looking rifles made, and it does not hurt that it is made in the USA. This is my 5th Henry in my collection. I plan on building a display case for them so others can appreciate these attractive rifles that represent a part of the old west. I have an old original Henry as well. Thank you for helping me add to my collection. I will be a return customer.

2 years agoLever mechanism jammed on second shot. Shooting 6 inches high on two shots with Buckhorn site set to lowest setting. Had to ship back to Henry.

2 years agoWas considering Henry's .44 mag lever action but went for their 30-30 instead. I'm very happy with the 30-30 rifle. It's well made, looks good, and shoots great. I've shot a number of boxes of different brands and bullet weights through it and everything worked fine. The only problem I had with the riffle was that the butt stock became loose after the first box of ammo. That problem seems to have been solved simply by tightening the tang bolt. A few hundred rounds later and the stock is still tight. Still might also buy the .44 mag version, though!

2 years agoVery pleased with the fit and finish. Bought the brass Model and cycled the lever as Customer Service suggested and have a very smooth operation. Shoots very tight groups off hand with the iron sights a 100 yards. Saving up to buy my third Henry, maybe for Christmas this year! Toss up between a .357 or a 45-70. Henry customer service has always been super.

2 years agoSweet gun!!! Shoots amazing and it is beautiful! They now make one with the side gate shell ejection. That’s the one I purchased. Highly recommend this gun!

2 years agoI have wanted a lever action rifle since i was a kid. The nostalgia from this purchase was insane! Can't go wrong with Henry always a good choice. Got this in .30-30, only issue i have is ammo is hard to find currently

2 years agoI have always wanted this rifle. I bought the Henry compact 22lr. And it is a masterpiece. If there was one thing I didn't like, it was the fact that I could not "zero" the gun with the iron sites. The lowest I could get the poi was about 6" high at 50 yrds. I will say with the federal fusion ammo I was almost touching holes at 50 yrds. I had to scope it for this deer season, but I plan to find some iron sights that suit me.

2 years agoNot only is this rifle good looking it is also fun to shoot. The action is so smooth, Henry is doing a great job on the build of these rifles. If you purchase one, you will not be disappointed.
