1 year agoQuality rifle, fun to shoot-- pickup process at store was a little frustrating, manager was helpful though -

1 year agoAccurate, ghost sight, drilled for picatinny rail, threaded barrel for suppressor and low recoil. Just a sweet gun.

1 year agoI bought this gun about three months ago and successfully fired about 300 rounds. Summary as follows. First the PROs: - Iron sights are great. After initial firing, did not bother to use optics. - Good results with different types of ammo. Cheap target ammo and more expensive rounds had great shot groupings from 50 feet to 25 yards. - Looks great. I really like the wood stock and finish. Now the CONs: - After about 300 rounds, one of the pins in the trigger assembly started shifting to the left, causing the safety not being able to engage. While relatively easy to push the pin back, this is a recurring issue. - While Henry provided a customer number, they said due to the workload, they would get back to me with a label and further instructions. That was over four weeks ago. (I live close to Rice Lake and offered to drive to the site to turn in the location but no response.) Reason for three stars: Manufacturer needs to have a quicker response time for a safety issue. (I would not have pushed the pin back except the local gun smith provided guidance.) As an owner of previous Henry products, they make great lever actions. Perhaps this is a one-off in terms of quality but waiting over four weeks is not what one should expect.

1 year agoFrom the Henry web site for this rifle: For maximum reliability, Henry recommends the use of double-stack 3rd, 4th, or 5th Gen OEM Glock G17 or G19 magazines, OEM SIG P320 magazines, and OEM M&P double-stack magazines with their respective magazine well adapters. (Couldn't figure out how to add an answer.)

1 year agoIt is a Henry no doubt.Henry wood, similar to Big Boy wood.Fit and finish excellent.Feeds and fires just fine.Like the sights, however may sub with some Skinner sights.Very nice weight, feels like a solid Rifle.Little hollow sounding at forearm. Not a big issue.Bolt will not release forward with empty mag in well.Loaded mag or ejected mag bolt releases. Not a big thing just a bit different.Leathered texture vs Checkering?Nothing wrong with the leathering, however I like Checkering.Very nice rifle that will bring a ton of fun at the Range plus offer outstanding Home Defense.

1 year agoGreat rifle; easy to handle, accurate, low recoil, solid.... Also, Sportsman's Warehouse is a great retailer.

1 year agoBought it because wanted a 9mm plinker ...... I already own a Henry rifle and and am quite happy with it........I was not disappointed.....I have had a lot of fun with it......adding a 1X4 scope was a big improvement........I have stayed with the Henry magazines because they have been 100 percent reliable. My only real compliant is that the trigger could be better.

1 year agoWell balanced and reliable. I added the GLOCK magazine adapter and it has run well with factory and aftermarket magazines.

1 year agoI love this rifle. Added a Glock mag well and a scope, it is very accurate and dependable. It’s fun to shoot and looks great while doing it. Iron sights are almost useless by being so low that it is difficult to get good sight eye alignment.

1 year agoWaited for several months to purchase due to availability. Haven't tried shooting it yet, weather too hot. The rifle looks like another master piece from Henry. I can't wait to get it on the range as I have already purchased two additional 10 round magazines from Henry. I'm sure it will be another good looking rifle to add to my Henry collection.

1 year agoA neat little rifle. About the same noise level as a 22 rimfire. Just about no recoil and a fun rifle to plink with. Haven’t got spend a lot of time with it yet but will soon.

1 year agoReally fun to shoot. Accurate, quality build. Cool traditional look . Put 100 rounds through it straight out of the box,,, no issues of any kind. Very light recoil. Henry Firearms are a National Treasure.

1 year agoThis thing is a blast to shoot. Not too much kick, and very accurate right out of the box. I only wish the magazine adapter for the Sig P320 was available. The adapters for the Glock 9mm seem to be available, so if you have one of those you're set. I also like that this rifle actually looks like a rifle and not surplus from Seal Team Six. I've run about 500 rounds through it so far and not the slightest hint of a problem. Great rifle, I highly recommend it.
