It combines all the features of our legendary Big Boy rifle with the quick handling of a shorter, lighter carbine barrel length – losing almost a pound in barrel weight. It’s the ideal brush gun for tight spaces, but don’t let its compact size fool you. The shorter barrel gives up nothing in accuracy to the regular Big Boy. And like our classic Big Boy the attention to detail in the design features great Western styling including a large loop lever that makes holding this rifle as thrilling as it is to shoot. The 16.5 inches octagonal barrel is outfitted with a classic fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight with a reversible white diamond insert and a brass beaded front-sight. The tubular magazine tops off at 7 rounds. Both the straight-grip stock and forearm are crafted of select American walnut accented with a brass barrel band and Henry’s recognizable brass receiver. 1 year agoAlways wanted one, The rifle is nicer than several other brands to include my browning blr…. Now my blr is 300 win mag and magazine fed but fit, feel, and function, I like the Henry quality lil bit more. It’s just a good old style rifle that fits in the truck…… no complaints or regrets on the purchase

1 year agoVery nice rifle! Shoots very accurately to 150 yds . Jams up a bit once in awhile- but not a big issue- overall it is a classic western icon sure to stick around for a very long while

1 year agoI already own Marlin 1894C which I really like. However the side loading gate is too strong for my old weak thumb. Sold the marlin to my son and bought the Henry. Havent shot yet but it looks and feels as good as advertised and easy loading. will be lots of fun to shoot. this is the 3rd gun I've purchased from Sportsmans Warehouse (ive bought many online) and would recommend to anyone. I live in the shiz state of CA where everything related to guns is expensive. SW has the best prices

1 year agoExcellent rifle, the tube lock is stiff & hard to unlock to load ammo. But other than that I love it. My shotgun kicks more than this rifle does.

1 year agoOutstanding lever action rifle! I have 5 Henry rifles now and quite frankly, they are ALL GREAT rifles. The fit and finish on these rifles is second to none. This .357 Magnum hardly has any recoil, especially compared to the .44 Magnum Big Boy, which I also own. Again, thank you to the great customer service folks at the Rocklin California store!
