1 year agoI bought this rifle for my grandsons to shoot when they visit my ranch. It is a high quality rifle that is easy and safe for them to learn with. I will be buying another when I can find one.

1 year agoWhat a beauty! Excellent quality, looks and feels terrific - the perfect walnut stock, the polished receiver, the octagonal barrel. It shoots great: I bought a cheapest Simmons 3-9x32 scope, installed it, and put 3 dozens bullets into 3 2x2 inches squares at 25 yards, no flyers, all shots were right on. Comparing to other Henry carbines like a basic one with a thin barrel or a Golden Boy, this one made to be optic-ready - it has an integrated dove tail rail on the receiver, and a flatter

1 year agoVery nicely finish and balanced. The rear sight was way off to the left. Very obvious when you looked at it. Once I centered it with the barrel it became a tack driver. We have a golden boy also. The shorter barrel large loop and slight different butt stock makes it a quicker shooting rifle. I personally like the brushed silver better. I am 6' 4" with 37" sleeve length. It's still easy to sight and shoot.
