When we brought out our game-changing (and game-getting) Long Ranger model, it was a leveraction milestone for Henry Repeating Arms. But, the thing with milestones is that the first one only begins the journey, and in 2018 we’re adding more to that particular route. If you liked the original blued Long Rangers, either with or without sights, but your own personal style leans toward an upgrade in elegance and pride of ownership, you’ll want to take a close look at the new Long Ranger Deluxe, in .223 Rem/5.56 NATO caliber. Crafted to the same specs and performance levels with round 20 inches barrels, checkered American walnut furniture, straight-wrist stocks, 7 lb weights, fully adjustable folding rear sight and 0.062 inches ramped ivory bead front, drilled and tapped receivers for scope use, comfortable non-slip black solid rubber recoil pad, sling swivels, detachable steel magazine, and automatic transfer-bar safety, the Deluxe Long Rangers center around an eye-catching lightweight alloy receiver plated with highly polished nickel under beautifully executed scroll engraving on both side flats and lightly accented with 24K gold inlay. For truck, saddle, or tree stand, take your next hunt up a notch, and never forget that there’s a true Henry workhorse inside these show ponies.

1 year agoI've owned many lever and bolt action rifles and the long ranger is by far the worst trigger. Gritty creep and heavy pull. Not a long range rifle with a trigger like that. Read the forums and you'll find many trying to polish and alter the trigger because it's a very heavy pull. As one described it, it's like pulling a brick. Sold mine a month aft...Read More Read more about review stating Worst trigger in production.

1 year agoUses available, [relatively] inexpensive ammo. Good iron sights and very accurate. Smooth lever action and great trigger. Good looking gun and made in USA

1 year agoTransaction went well, upon request guns.com added my preferred local FFL to their map. FU California received the Henry as promised. Being in Kalifornia we are made to wait an unconstitutional amount of time before being allowed to take possession... Blah.

1 year agoOnly got it yesterday so it's too soon to tell. Fit and finish are very good. I' looking forward to it based on all the reviews. The action is a little stiff, but I assume it will loosen up over time. Guns.com shipped fast and comms were good. A little pricey but you were the only place I could find it.
