Beyond the barrel length and grip, the Barkeep Boot delivers the familiar operation and quality construction of the Rough Rider series single-action revolvers on which it is based. This includes a hammer firing system, manual safety, classical notched rear sight, and black oxide barrel, frame, and cylinder finish. This model is offered with custom wood black grips. All revolvers come with a custom Heritage wood-handled ejector rod for removing empty cartridge cases.

1 year agoLove this firearm. it fits very well in my holster and is easily concealed. i put a wmr cylinder which allows it to take .22 magnum ammo.

1 year agoFor starters, this is a novelty gun. It'd do in a real pinch, but definitely not a go-to EDC. I like weird novelty guns & Heritage seems to be the only one making them these days (I also have their 22LR/22Mag 16" barrel Rough Rider). I don't want to pay a gunsmith to cut down a new stock gun for a novelty. Even tho the price is low, they're Made in the USA, which is important to me. Pretty surprised with Heritage quality at their prices. Nice, tight fit & rugged build. You can use a 22Mag

1 year agoLove, Love LOVE my Barkeep Boot ! Heavy Weight and Bad Ass look make this a Favorite of my Heritage Mfg. collection. Cycled 1200 rounds without incident. Magnum cylinder bolts right up but be ready to call it the Barkeep Bastard ! Meant to be a close range gun. With 1" barrel and no front sight you must line up the rear "U" channel 15 inches BELOW the intended target at 7 yards . . So what ! Now that you have the recipe, go have fun !!
