Rough Rider the very image conjured up is of the rugged men led by Theodore Roosevelt up Kettle Hill and San Juan Hill over 100 years ago during our war with Spain. That same image of ruggedness might also be applied to the newest Big Bore Rough Rider revolver from Heritage. Almost the “spitting image” of the Single Action Army still be carried by some troops during the Spanish-American War, this latest six-shooter comes chambered for the legendary 357 Magnum. This fine handgun can be had in the traditional 5.5 inches barrel length, just like the original. Blue, nickel, stainless and blue/color-case hardened finishes are available and each gun is fitted with attractive one-piece cocobolo grips. The action features a frame mounted inertia firing pin and transfer bar for added protection. Old World gun maker Pietta of Italy start certain parts for us. They are a family run operation, just like Heritage Manufacturing. Then those certain parts are finished by Heritage, then plated then fully assembled by us in the good old US. Perfect for the exciting sport of western action shooting, the Big Bore Rough Rider embodies the flavor of the Old West and will also serve anyone who wants an accurate and reliable sidearm for other outdoor activities. As with all of the Heritage handgun line, this new six-gun offers both quality and affordability, an American Tradition!.

1 year agoI had been looking for this gun for a few weeks but everybody seemed to be out of stock. Grab a Gun popped up on a web search and not only did they have; but, it was at a lower price than anywhere else. Shipping was very reasonable and surprisingly quick. As for the gun, it's a single action .357 with a nice crisp trigger and was very accurate right out of the box. I got it to go along with the set (.22 .45LC & now .357). They are all a blast to shoot!

1 year agoVery nice Gun. Excellent finish and very good fit. Grips needed a little fitting and a touch of Tru Oil. Now way better than the price would indicate.

1 year agoGood single action for the price. Only complaint the revolver shoots low, with my ammo. Parts well fitted. Nice gun looks good.

1 year agoFor a .357 wmr the price is amazing in comparison to other revolvers although it’s a single action a single time at the range and your firing just as if it’s a double action I like to keep my right on the gun and pull the hammer back with my left thumb the sights are fixed but seem great I have put about 300 rounds through it not a problem also not a single bullet has had a light tap most revolvers they say as a safety precaution to have one bullet less in case of a mis fire but it being single
