Born of the traditions of the Old West, the Rough Rider maintains much of the look and feel of the legendary Single Action Army revolver, only in a scaled down version. Chambered for the .22LR and .22 Magnum cartridges, the Rough Rider is manufactured using state-of-the-art precision machinery that assures its accuracy and reliability. The cylinder lock-up is tight and the perfect timing of the action makes for a handgun that will put its shots where you want ’em.
The machined barrel is micro-threaded and inserted into the frame for the optimal barrel/cylinder gap to give you maximum ammunition performance. A hammer block mounted in the recoil shield provides extra protection and has a red dot indicator that lets you know when the gun is ready for action. A new, more authentic looking flat-sided hammer paired with new exotic cocobolo grips, makes the Rough Rider both functional and handsome. There are also other grip materials available, plus finish options include the attractive and durable Smooth Silver Satin. When it comes to the Rough Rider there are no shortcuts taken!
Ideal for hunting, plinking or western action shooting, let the Rough Rider be your choice in a new rimfire revolver.

2 years agoGreat little gun. Does have a quick trigger which I had to get used to. Great for target shooting. Love the handles.

2 years agoGood gun. But the stock grips are a hideous orange color... The fit on the grips is pretty rough as well. Nothing a new set won't fix though. Everything else is good. Solid, smooth action, shoots straight. All good. My only other gripe, is the polymer trigger. But that's neither here nor there. I ordered from Guns.com, and I was a little apprehens...Read More Read more about review stating Rough Rider 9-shot

2 years agoClassic simple cheap well made dependability accurate. 9 shots levels the playing field an now they can be as fast as you if they put a switch on the back of their Glock! But still couldn't afford to practice as much as you for a dime a shot.

2 years agoGreat little target gun, super cheap to shoot, accurate, fun to load… don’t let the low price deter you, it’s one of the best things about this gun. The price doesn’t match the outstanding quality, you get a real cowboy feel when using. Easy to use, the safety is a nice touch for someone who is new to revolvers. Fantastic firearm, with brilliant f...Read More Read more about review stating Great gun for beginner and pro cowboys alike!

2 years agoI love this new pistol! Light, yet well balanced for me. I’m used to a .357 Blackhawk, so this is quite a change! Nice little revolver.

2 years agoI have not had a chance to take it out shooting. But I love the gun. The bird head handle gives it a unique look and feel. Can't wait to use it.

1 year agoFun to shoot, easy to clean, great started handgun, especially for younger kids just starting out since it shoots .22. Bought it for Dad's birthday and he loves it.

1 year agoGreat quality gun for the price. Love the wood grips. Right out of the box hit target 6 out of 10 at 30 yards. Will definitely Italy consider purchasing another one.

1 year agoThis is my second. It's the small bore 3.5 inch barrel model. It's great quality, fits so well in the hand, and is quite accurate. The appearance with the bird head grip is very fine. Operation takes more knowledge and "following the instructions" than a vintage single action revolver, but is keyed towards safety and safe shooting. A solid "gr...Read More Read more about review stating This is my second. It's

1 year agoThis is a well built gun for the price. Overall a very sturdy good feeling pistol. I have put thousands of rounds through this pistol over the past month and have never had a misfire. My only con is that it shoots consistently 3 inches to the left. I knew this could be an issue before buying and was hoping I would luck out. After purchasing I did some more research and found out that this is a common problem with Heritage’s products. I have been using Kentucky Windage and have for the most part

1 year agoBeing new to revolvers, it took me some time to know the operation. Quickly I became comfortable with it and it is a joy to fire. Painted the rear of the blade sight white, which helped with the aiming. Wish it had more than 6 rounds! Get one and have fun!

1 year agoI got this in the mail today, and upon opening, the top groove for the sight has rust on it. there is rust on the front sight post, and there is rust on the loading door. I disassembled the gun and l discovered an incredible amount of powder residue - far more than would normally result from the test firing. I may update with photos, but right now I am unable to post.

1 year agoAll in all I'm impressed with the quality of a cheap priced pistol. This one that I have shoots high to the left so I'll have to do some adjusting. Very pleased with my purchase.

1 year agoThis is a fun plinker. I do not have any complaints with this firearm. I am also very pleased with Palmetto State Armory, the service is always great.

1 year agoThe barrel was loose outta the box. When I tightened it, the front sight is off and the battle doesn’t stay tight. I will be sending it back. This was disappointing as I bought it for my sons bday present and the excitement of shooting it at the range went out the window, obviously if you can’t shoot it straight and kept loosening with could be dangerous.

1 year agoWhat a piece of junk this turned out to be! I was impressed with the idea of a 9 shot SA with 22 LR and WMR for under 200.00. Now I know why they are so cheap. The front blade on mine was canted to the right. When I took it to the range couldn't get more than a 6 " group at 7 yards The solution as per Heritage, "bend the blade the other way". Things just got worse. Also noticed that the gun printed all over - couldn't get a tight group even on bench. I really think the rifling is bad! The
