Born of the traditions of the Old West, the Rough Rider maintains much of the look and feel of the legendary Single Action Army revolver, only in a scaled down version. Chambered for the .22LR, the Rough Rider is manufactured using state-of-the-art precision machinery that assures its accuracy and reliability. The cylinder lock-up is tight and the perfect timing of the action makes for a handgun that will put its shots where you want ’em.

The machined barrel is micro-threaded and inserted into the frame for the optimal barrel/cylinder gap to give you maximum ammunition performance. A hammer block mounted in the recoil shield provides extra protection and has a red dot indicator that lets you know when the gun is ready for action. A new, more authentic looking flat-sided hammer paired with new exotic cocobolo grips, makes the Rough Rider both functional and handsome. When it comes to the Rough Rider there are no shortcuts taken!

Ideal for hunting, plinking or western action shooting, let the Rough Rider be your choice in a new rimfire revolver.

Nice little 22 revolver, wish it would have came with the 22mag cylinder as well as the 22LR. My only other gripe that I have is the grip got messed up 2 times in shipping, the 1st time there was a decent bit of the decal missing on it. After talking to palmetto state armory about it the ffl sent it back to them to get another one out that is good to go. The second one that was recieved by the ffl had a little bit if the decal missing on the handle as well, but not nearly as bad.

Looks good and shoots well. The bullets do not slide out like they should. It is a little difficult to remove them from the chamber.

I bought one of these about a year or two ago. Its a great fun gun. Simple to use great safety features. For the price you can not beat it. I think this is a great gun to have around for when you want to take a first timer to the range and get them hooked on shooting. Only pure freedom hating commie would hate shooting this gun.

This is an awesome gun, I got it for my son in law for Christmas, and I feel like I need one for my own collection.

Shot 6 rounds out of it. Jammed everytime, not it wont function at all. Barrel wont spin, and hammer wont go back. Operates as it should with the barrel removed. My kid was so happy to get this, and immediately disappointed when we got to the range.

When I saw that it was a Heritage Rough Rider I fell in love with it and the American flag grip made me want it even more. I'm a buff when it comes to old guns of the west. Great gun for beginners, I love everything about this gun, couldn't be happier, other than not being able to find amo for it. Shoots great spot on every shot. Verry PLEASED!

Showed with a few scratches on the painted grip. Have yet to take it out. Other than those details, it feels great in my hand and ignoring the scratches it looks awesome.

Love it. Love that it's made in the USA and it's very versatile. Add the 22 Mag cylinder and it's just plum sweet ????

I too, like others have mentioned received a gun that looks like it was used. It had nicks and scratches all over and looks to have been shot more than once. I was so excited until I opened the box and had to come back to read this listing to see if it was second hand since it was such a good deal. Either I got someone’s used gun, or I guess you get what you pay for. Haven’t fired it yet, and too lazy to return it so I will just settle.

This is my second Rough Rider 22 and well i wish I did not get rid of the first - it was great !! So the second gun - not so great ! Looked good , super cool american flag grips - nice ! except out of the box [ also nice ] it did not fire , 2 out of 6 mis fire - hum ? , tried 5 types of ammo , concluded firing pin , so cleaned the pistol with solvent [ carb cleaner ] and then started hitting all 6 - ok - so now it shoots however to the left ? I found it necessary to " bend the front sight

I love this thing I have a few of them, the shorter barrel ones and the longer barrel ones, it’s a ton of fun, sights are a little weird but that’s to be expected on an old fashioned single action, you get use to them if your not use to old guns, and once you do you can hit anything, you need one of these, for the price it’s not even up for debate get one or even two to dual wield them, they are extremely fun I can shoot these things all day, great for kids as well, great family gun. You can

My first handgun. Easy to use. Fun to shoot. I've put a few hundred rounds through it with no issues

The name of this gun should be "Fun" Rough Rider because it is, well, fun to shoot. It makes me want to put on a cowboy hat and line up some tin cans! Prior to this purchase I never thought I would get a revolver. However, the single action is easy to use, you don't have to buy extra magazines and it is super simple to clean. I gave it a 4 star rating only because accuracy is only fair. This is a gun designed to defend yourself from tin cans - not home invaders.

Great target shooting pistol at a very decent price along with the rebate, makes this a hard to resist offer. Also don't forget to get the 2nd 22mag cylinder. Great fun at a awesome price!

On one particular chamber I fire a blank nearly every time. It's quite a disappointment, really. It's esthetically quite nice and feels comfortable to hold, however. Overall, I like it, just a bit disappointed in the mechanical quality of the weapon.
