Born of the traditions of the Old West, the Rough Rider maintains much of the look and feel of the legendary Single Action Army revolver, only in a scaled down version. Chambered for the .22LR and .22 Magnum cartridges, the Rough Rider is manufactured using state-of-the-art precision machinery that assures its accuracy and reliability. The cylinder lock-up is tight and the perfect timing of the action makes for a handgun that will put its shots where you want ’em.

The machined barrel is micro-threaded and inserted into the frame for the optimal barrel/cylinder gap to give you maximum ammunition performance. A hammer block mounted in the recoil shield provides extra protection and has a red dot indicator that lets you know when the gun is ready for action. A new, more authentic looking flat-sided hammer paired with exotic cocobolo grips, makes the Rough Rider both functional and handsome. When it comes to the Rough Rider there are no shortcuts taken!

Ideal for hunting, plinking or western action shooting, let the Rough Rider be your choice in a new rimfire revolver.

If you are a gun snob you will never like this pistol. For normal folks it is worth the money. Accurate, fun and comes with both .22 LR and .22 WMR cylinder.

I haven't been able to shoot it as of now, the gun seems to be made good for the price range. The finish has quite a few spots and blemishes but it's about what I was expecting. Can't wait to go shoot it, I believe it will be lots of fun for plinking and maybe a few rabbits and squirrels

Beautiful handgun, with unique features. However, I recommend you look twice when buying this product. I like the finish and grip, the heavier weight is also a nice surprise and I didnt expect it from a handgun of this caliber. What made me purchase this is the value that it comes with - the package contains two cylinders; one for .22LR and one for .22WMR. Despite being a beautiful product and the value of the two cylinders, it may not work right away. The firing pin on the one I purchased was

It wasn't the price (which was good), it's the look and feel. Shoots great and is my carry when hiking. Saves me from using 9mm on pesky snakes.

Finish is a little rough and I'm not crazy about the safety but for the money , it's a fun little gun. Accurate, and when you factor in the magnum cylinder, it's a great deal.

A fun little, single action western revolver. I've been using the 22 WMR cylinder. It's a fun, loud fire shooting caliber, in a 4.75" barrel. Paint the sights a. Brite neon green to see better. My only complaint is, the front sight blade was put on leaning to the left. For an inexpensive gun, quite a fun gun.

For the price it is great. I have had some issues with another of their pistols, that was sent back for warranty that were not solved to my satisfaction, however, youtube has a number of different videos submitted which address common problems for DIY.

The fit and finish are good. The handles are an odd bright orange color, rather than rosewood hues like the photos, but they’re easy and cheap to replace. It shoots great groups with the .22 LR cylinder, but slightly to the left. The .22 WMR cylinder was nowhere near as good with the one brand of ammo I tried in it. I’m very satisfied with this revolver for the price. It’s a great little plinker.

I love this pistol! I did change the color of the grips though. Just a case of personal preference. Still waiting to see if I get my rebate. That has been an ordeal.

Great package with the gun and two cylinders, a real value. The Heritage small bore single actions are so much fun to shoot, don’t hesitate, pick one up and have fun.

Love it, but replaced the too orange looking grips with checkered walnut. Thats the great thing about these revolvers, you can get change grips very easy and economically

the fit metal to wood is okay, nothing to write home about but for less than $2oo you can't beat it shoots fine no problems at all.. and heritage has a whole line of replacement grips..

bought this on sale fun to shoot and accurate for a Single action. Bonus was it came with a 22LR and a @@ WMR cylinders so sort of like 2 pistols in one. Best part was I then got it on sale. My First Heritage SA but I am a fan as I have several other more expensive ones and this is well made and fairly smooth action.

I sent it back because it was splitting 22 mag cases and bulging the head on all but standard velocity 22s. The ejector quit lining up an the click after the third or 4th cylinder . Returned to me after repairs with the same issues except a new cylinder for the 22 mag and it doesn’t split cases. Probably needs a new hand (as I indicated with the return). Price for that part is only $8, but with $20 shipping I’m not gonna pay to fix something that should’ve been fixed under warranty the first time. Hard pass on any future purchases from heritage.

I love this bird grip version!!! It's so comfortable in my hand! Great price with the magnum cylinder included!!! I am a traditional cowboy gun lover and I didn't think that I would like this grip style. But I love it so much that I am going to convert one of my Barkeeps to this style grip!!!

For the price, this gem is hard to beat. Wish it had adjustable sights but for the price that’s fine. Shoots 22lr and 22 wmr very well. Feels really nice in the hands! Fun plinked and trainer.
