Born of the traditions of the Old West, the Rough Rider maintains much of the look and feel of the legendary Single Action Army revolver, only in a scaled-down version. Chambered for the .22LR, the Rough Rider is manufactured using state-of-the-art precision machinery that assures its accuracy and reliability. The cylinder lock-up is tight and the perfect timing of the action makes for a handgun that will put its shots where you want ’em.
The machined barrel is micro-threaded and inserted into the frame for the optimal barrel/cylinder gap to give you maximum ammunition performance. A hammer block mounted in the recoil shield provides extra protection and has a red dot indicator that lets you know when the gun is ready for action. A new, more authentic looking flat-sided hammer paired with new exotic cocobolo grips, makes the Rough Rider both functional and handsome. When it comes to the Rough Rider there are no shortcuts taken!
This Betsy Ross edition of the Rough Rider comes custom grips emblazoned with the iconic Betsy Ross flag. Ideal for hunting, plinking or western action shooting, let the Rough Rider be your choice in a new rimfire revolver.

2 years agoFun little plinker. This 22LR has very little recoil or kickback making it the perfect training firearm for my son. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

2 years agoLoved the gun. It is a great gun to practice on your shooting or just plinking for fun. Ammos are cheap too. But one thing to considered before buying is that the painting does not stay on too well. Mines is already coming off a bit, and I only had it a few weeks. After than that, it is a good gun.

1 year agoVery happy with my purchase....I dig this gun....old fashioned fun. Went to the the desert and didnsime shooting. I have run about 300 rounds through it. Awesome little shooter. My daughter was proficient with it after about 10 rounds hitting her targets and having a good time.

1 year agoVery beautiful gun, easy to shoot and clean. A truly remainder of a classic. I enjoy this single action revolver every time I go to the ranch

1 year agoCylinder was very tight at the start. It took about 200 rounds to get everything loosened up. I had about a dozen light strikes out of 325 rounds. Dead on at 35 feet. I'm still giving 5 stars because it is not uncommon for a gun to need a little break in period.

1 year agoGreat little 22 revolver. Used this to teach my wife to shoot. A lot cheaper to shoot than 9mm, 40 or 45.

1 year agoCan’t get much more fun for under $150! Great revolver, reminiscent of the classic Colt. Get the optional 22 mag cylinder as well, it’s great fun. Single action plinker that works well.

1 year agoI really can not speak about the Heritage Mfg. Rough Rider 9 inch adjustable site revolver since I just bought it. What I can say is that I own the Heritage Mfg. Rough Rider 6 inch adjustable site revolver and it is the reason I bought the 9 inch version of the exact same gun. I have fired the 6 inch version just over 200 rounds and I like it well...Read More Read more about review stating Not exactly the review you ask for but I did the best I could.

1 year agoFor the price this is a great little revolver. Not going to be the best when it comes to finish or quality, but for some target practice it’s hard to have more fun with a firearm for the price than a rough rider.
