Rated at 1300 fps, it is highly reliable. I've shot 500 rounds of Herter's Rimfire Ammo without a single misfire. I would purchase it again.

Bought 500 rounds of Herter's .22 target ammunition. Shot 85 rounds through two different semiautomatic 22's (both have been reliable with other brands and at lower velocity ratings than the Herter's). 75% failed to feed the next round or failed to eject the previous cartridge causing a jam (didn't matter which gun). 10+ casings got stuck in the barrel over the 85 rounds. As someone else noted, these casings seem to be larger than other brands that I have used. Maybe I got a bad batch, but they are not are usable in any of my guns.

I bought this during the last sale and tried it yesterday through a Ruger Standard pistol, Colt's Frontier Scout and a Winchester 9422...this ammunition worked perfectly...it was plenty accurate through the 9422...I did less well with the pistols but that may have been on me ; )

We shot 3 different brands, Aguila, cci and herters. No surprises out of cci and aguila. The herters does not cycle through a pistol consistently. Inconsistent powder affecting performance out of a bolt action rifle. Buy anything but this stuff!! Its cheap for a reason

I shot100 rounds of this ammo today with a Browning Buckmark. Nearly every mag had one dud and one failure to eject. I also shot 100 rounds of a different brand, no issues at all. I cant recommend this ammo

I bought because it was my only online option, but it is the worst ammo I have ever used - don’t buy!!! Purchased both solid and hollow points with similar results. Both feed terribly from what appears to be about half the bullets being seated so loose that you can wobble the bullet by simply shaking the casing. Will not be buying twice.

Bought 5 boxes for my Walther P22. This stuff would not cycle in that gun. Walthers are picky but I had 8 of 14 rounds fail to load, eject and or extract. I gave up and tried a different brand. And of course ammo is not returnable. Lesson learned. I hope the 9mm Herters is better. That will be the next trip to the range.

I put 100 of these through a new firefly, and the projectiles would seemingly explode in the barrel and leave the muzzle as a blast of sandy grit instead of a 1 piece bullet. These left grains of sand like material all over the shooting stall. Dirtiest ammo I have used in 35 years of shooting by far.
