HEVI-Shot’s best selling product is even better. Hunters can now enjoy greater lethality at even longer range than original HEVI-Metal shells. HEVI-Shot’s new bismuth pellets are 16% denser than old HEVI-Shot heavier than steel alloy, which allow HEVI-Shot to pack smaller pellets that have greater killing power than traditional or even super steel pellets. And, while the performance has increased dramatically, the price has not. HEVI-Metal Longer Range is priced similarly to HEVI-Metal.

Being an avid hunter of over fifty years, I have tried several Manufacturer’s ammo, experimenting with shot size and shot type, trying to find the ultimate high fliers knock down shell with little to no success, until now. The Hevi-Metal Longer Range Bang Dead shotshell has exceeded all my expectations. The bismuth overshot is an ingenious solution to your harvest success, making shots fifty yards or more manageable with less wounded birds. The Bang Dead narrative is no gimmick, just fact. Try a box today, you won’t be disappointed!!

Used the 3.5" #2 on Canada's. Worked great had just 2 cripples but that was all me. Pushed the envelope on a few shoots out around 70 yards and got both back. 55 yards is max for clean kills. Having the density and weight out of these shell's really makes the difference.

I would not take time to write this, if this ammo had not made a difference in the hunt. I have taken identical shots at ducks and missed. This took them down! It covers a longer distance effectively.

This is the best shell for the money that I have ever used. This shell bridges the gap between the economy steel shot shells and and the effectiveness of the original Hevi-Shot. The principle of the steel/bismuth duplex load is ingenious, because a hit with this shell will still put plenty of high density pellets on target, but a miss will not be as costly as a miss using 100% bismuth or Hevi-Shot. I have dropped ducks and geese with this shell while watching others in the blind only pluck a few feathers from birds of the same flock using steel. Yes, 100% steel is cheaper. Yes, 100% bismuth or Hevi is more effective. But when it comes to versatility, Hevi-Metal longer range takes the crown.

The best waterfowl load I’ve ever shot. Tried many different brands and these do the trick for me. Well worth the cost when your reaping the rewards!

Definitely not worth the price. I bought a case 2 seasons ago and they turned into backup shells really quick. They work OK if they’re in tight. Way too many cripples and lost divers. Save your money and buy something cheaper that works the same, or spend the same and get a shell that works worlds better.

Last season was my first season duckhunting. These seemed a little pricey, but when I made the switch, it made a big difference was shooting the number fours and they could get out there and knock‘em down much better expecaly in Highwind which I had a lot of on the big lake that I was hunting off of.
