The HK USP (Universal Self-loading Pistol) was the first Heckler & Koch pistol designed especially for American shooters. Features favored by the U.S. military, law enforcement agencies, and civilian users provided the design criteria for the USP. Its controls are uniquely American, influenced by such famous designs as the Model 1911 pistol. The control lever, a combination safety and/or decocking lever, is frame mounted and quickly accessible, unlike the slide mounted safeties common on many semi-automatic pistols. Using a modified Browning-type action with a special patented recoil reduction system, the USP is built to take the punishment of the most powerful SAAMI specification loads. The recoil reduction system lessens recoil effects on pistol components and also lowers the recoil forces felt by the shooter. The USP recoil reduction system is insensitive to ammunition types and requires no special adjustment or maintenance. It functions effectively in all USP models. By using a modular approach to the internal components, the control lever function of the USP can be switched from the left to the right side of the pistol for left-handed shooters. The USP can also be converted from one type of trigger firing mode to a variety of others.

1 year agoi was left 6 tactical,expert and elite usp pistols from .45acp to 9mm ,the most accurate being the elite with a 6.1 inch barrel and the second most accurrate the expert usp in 9mm with a 5.1 inch barrel ,groups with the two 45 usp are usually about one and a half inches at 67 ft ,with the 9mm experts its about 1 and 3 quarter inches ,I prize all 6 of my hechler & Koch pistols ,but I carry either a 5 inch custom python or an fnx .45 with a 5 and a half inch barrel and 17 round custom plus two magazines.none of these firearms will ever be sold as they are family heirlooms along with a colt and h&k custom collection ,rifles and revolvers and autoloading pistols.i will never part with any diamond back ,anaconda or python especially the last year in production python called the elite python my dad left me many but left me 12 elite pythons with consecutive serial numbers ,(my uncle ,my dads little brother ) worked for colt for over 45 years in the custom shop.

1 year agoGreat pistol. Doesn’t match the picture though the cup prongs are no longer on the slide but underneath the trigger guard.

1 year agoThis is a great handgun. It will eat any ammo you feed it and is ultra reliable. Highly recommend the HK USP.

1 year agoThe gun is great. The add is misleading. It does not come with the Jet Funnel not the 18 round mags. So add 80ish dollars for the funnel and 60-80 dollars for the 18 mags to the price of this gun, thus the 3 stats are for PSA not the HK.
