Hornady 223 55gr V-MAX Varmint Express Ammunition 20rds – 8327

Remington 700 223 fluted SS 24" barrel with 1-12 twist, at 100yd zero. This Hornaday 55gr V-max, after zeroing, gave me 4, 5shot grupes, I could cover with a dime. This rifle with this twist, is designed for 55 gr and lower ammo. This is my varmint rifle, with 6-24x50 Athlon scope. I have not shot past 100yds yet, but I will use Hornady Bilistic calculater for out to 400ygs. Highly recommend flat shooting Hornaday ammo.

these seem very similar to the hornady frontier fmj ammo i buy regularly for practice. same 3240 fps. that's great to have my self defense ammo be so similar to my practice stuff.
