2 years agoI have put a lot of rounds through my guns and I find myself reaching for Hornady most often at the range. It is in all of my home defense and carry guns. Pros: - Never a miss fire or jam in my guns. This is the biggest pro - Tight groups each and ever time. - Really decent groups in high wind on 62-77 grain - Price is not bad for the quality - Clean powder that does not gum up your gun. Cons - Can be hard to find sometimes and people tend to hoard it.

2 years agoBought these for my Ruger .450 Bushmaster. Shot a deer with it last year at 150yds. It didn't go far. Have shot at a target up to 200yds. Very accurate. Love them

2 years agoAfter the COVID pandemic began to take flight, it was tough trying to find ammo anywhere. I have not used the ammo yet but kudos to Cabela's for being the first store after 5 attempts to have ammo in stock. I know which retailer to try first the next time I'm looking for ammo or anything else for the outdoors.

1 year agoAmmo is great! Cabelas only sent 2 of 15 boxes, though! No notifications, no explanations, nothing! I get my abnormally small box, only to find out there was only 2 boxes of ammo! They canceled half of my order, and put the rest on backorder. I understand if they ran out, but how about a little notification??? Not a surprise when I open the package!!!!

1 year agoThese 110gr 300blk rounds are great. They performed perfectly. I will definitely be buying more of these.

1 year agoI just sighted in a new 308. I used some cheaper winchester ammo to get it close. It was all over the place. I turned to the hornady black and at 100yd, 3 shots left one hole. I'm sold..

1 year agoWent to sight in and had 3 out of 4 go click. Will never use again, used another brand and had no problems.

1 year agoBought a Browning 308 Target Eclipse with 26” bull barrel - the 155gr will shoot a .26 group with 5 rounds at 100 - needless to say, extremely accurate. Took it on an Axis hunt and dropped the Axis buck with a heart shot within 25 yards of where he stood. Shot distance was 155 yards. Next, I let my daughter take a Red Stagg at 178 yards on another hunt. She put placed the shot at the top of his heart and he stumbled 45 yards before expiring. Hornady and Browning - for me there is no substitute.

1 year agoGreat ammo and great transaction with Bass Pro Shop. Item was as described and delivery was prompt. Price was also good considering the price of ammo today.

1 year agoCan't buy without getting bass pro's credit card with some of the worst terms in the market. Just another way that bass pro management is ruining the cabela's name.

1 year agoGREAT Ammo for Hogs would recommend personally for deer but haven’t tried myself yet. Expecting nothing less.

1 year agoNever had an issue with these. Went to sight in my gun last week. 2 shots to dial it in then next 5 all touching. Sub moa accuracy and never a failure.

1 year agoI’ve used Hornady ammo for years. I use the Hornady SST shotgun ammo for deer hunting and it works great. This ELD match in the 123 grain shoots sub moa groups in my 6.5 Grendel. I highly recommend this ammo. Just wish it was more available and cheaper to shoot.

1 year agoI think the 123 grain ELD work great and are the "sweet spot" for the Grendel. I use them in a MSR ant they always run just fine. Right now, shooting at 200 yards to break the rifle in but hope to stretch it out longer (300-600) in the near future.

1 year agoEvery rifle is different and shoots better with one ammo compared to another. My 300 Blackout has shot this since day 1 and hasn't had a bad round yet. It had half the shot grouping size (or better) compared to any other ammo I tried. Shooting nickles at 100 yards is pretty spot on!

1 year agoHornady Black .450 Bushmaster - 250 grain ammo is the best. In Michigan, we can now use straight-walled rifles, and the .450 is a good weapon. This Hornady Black ammunition will allow the hunter to shoot 100 yard, 1-1 1/2” groups regularly! Buy it!

1 year agoThis is a great round. I sighted in my 300 blackout with it (110 grain in a Ruger Ranch bolt gun) and it was under an inch group at 100 yards. I then switched to some other brands and types of ammo and could never get a group that tight again. It does cost a little more but the accuracy was impressive.

1 year agoI've never been excited about the accuracy of most all the factory ammo I've used in the past. My opinion of most factory ammo is not good at all. I tried some of this ammo a while back. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this ammo shoots. I've used it with two of my AR-15's and they both shoot well with this stuff. I've used three different lot #s and they were all consistent. I'm thoroughly happy with this stuff!

1 year agoHornady Black 62 grain 223 ammo is great stuff! My ar15 with a 1-7 twist 18 inch barrel loves it. Very accurate, consistent, and reliable. It's also hard to find but grabagun had it in stock at a good price so i purchased some. Delivery was quick without issue as usual. Thanks Grabagun!
