Bought this when I was trying to figure out what my tikka t3x 308 liked. My rifle seemed to prefer these to other rounds. Can hit steel comfortably at 500 yards. I also dropped two elk in their tracks with the accurate placement. I bought the last two boxes I could find and without a doubt my most trusted bullet I've shot.

300 Win Mag 200 gr. / 3/4" groupings @ 100 yards from a Weatherby Ultra Light. Dropped a large bull moose on impact at 300 yards with a single shot high on the shoulder.

Bought the 162gr ELD-X for my 7mm Rem mag Savage 116.Took it to the range and sighted it in @ 1.5 in high @ 100yds with 3rds touching after rifle was zeroed in. During hunting season for Elk I got a young bull @ 355yds one shot only, the elk made it only 50yds and dropped. The kinetic energy from this bullet at a fair distance rocked the body of the elk. I can't wait to try it moose season

Bought two boxes of this ammo about a month ago and finally got to the range yesterday in preparation for the deer hunt. Wow I have never shot a cloverleaf at 100 meters before but I did this time. It consistently grouped in less than an inch through a bargain rifle and scope. My backup rifle might just become my primary.

Just look at the pic. A half inch hole from 3 shots ?Amazing performance. I’ve tried 2 Hornady’s and both were excellent ! Actually 3 of ‘em.. all excellent !!

Bought this recently and it performs poorly in my 270 WIN Savage Axys. 2-4 inch groups at 100 yards, while the cheap Federal Non-Typical shoots 1/2 inch groups. Not worth the money for my game...

I just purchased a Remington Model 700 Sendero SF 11 in .300 Win. Mag. I just used a box of 20 Hornady Precision Hunter 200 Gr .300 Win Mag. to help break in the new barrel. I started at 50 Yds. and first 6 shots grouped well under and inch. However out of the box of 20, 6/7 rounds were difficult to extract from Chamber. I had previously taken great care in Cleaning the rifle and chamber before firing any shots, Everything looked good. The last 10 shots the extraction ejection problem cleared up. I cant explain it. I have not experienced this with any other Hornady ammo. I have a .243 Win 90 gr. ELDX and 6.5 Creedmoor 143 ELDX. no problems with either. I am not ready to blame Hornady for this but I will do more break in and test firing with this round at another range session. I am an extremely knowledgeable gun owner and know how to reasearch ammo and firearms

Turned my 3006 into a half inch gun. Took it out to 500 yard and was hitting a 5 inch target on every shot! Incredibly accurate.

The Hornady ELD-X is an above average performer and the precision hunter line in 308 and 30-06 are sub MOA factory cartridges. Buy a box and try it, you'll be back for more

It's my mountain lion ammo. High impact with little exit hole damage. High velocity great round to use.

I really like this Hornady Precision Hunter .308 ammo. Once I got zero with my new Vortex scope my subsequent 3 shot groups were touching and even a few same hole shots at 100yds. Fantastic accuracy. Cannot speak to the effectiveness on game yet but shot placement is king and these will hit where you aim them. Highly recommended.

Extremely accurate. A little pricey to practice with. Started using 180 grain Core Lokts for target practice. I just need to adjust for height of impact. Groups tighten up when I switch back a month before deer and elk season.

What can I say, Hornady ammunition is consistent in all their ammunition. All I have to say is "Buck down".

Great Hunting Ammo, very accurate out of my Tikka T3x TAC A1- 1/2 Inch @ 200 Yards. Shot some hogs in the head & in the shoulder, no heavy fragmentation, one shot kills, dropped in their tracks. Highly recommended.

So far I’ve been very pleased with them! Shot one buck so far with them entrance hole wasn’t to big but bullet fragmented well and left a decent exit wound. Deer dropped in his tracks. When sighted in 3 bullet holes touched at 200 yards.

I am very impressed so far. The accuracy is as good as it gets with factory loads. It is more accurate than Federal Gold Medal Match 168gr SMK out of my Tikka T3x which is saying a lot seeing as that load shoot sub MOA 90% of the time. I have not tried it on game yet so I cannot comment on the performance after impact.

This bullet is pure Carnage!! Shot an elk at 408 yards and blew a massive entry hole through the rib bone, lungs, heart and exited out the opposite rib bone. Unbelievable damage at that range. AR-10
