Featuring ELD& shy-X Bullets with Heat Shield tip The radically superior ELD and shy-X bullet with Heat Shield tip, Precision Hunter is the ideal load for ANY hunting situation because of its effective terminal performance at ALL practical ranges. Best-IN-CLASS BCS Verified by Doppler radar, the Heat Shield tip defies the effects of aerodynamic heating and retains its shape to maintain the highest-in-class BC over its entire trajectory. Match accurate hunting bullet Streamlined secant ogive with optimum boat tail design + highly concentric AMP bullet jackets + Heat Shield tip combines for radically superior aerodynamic efficiency. Devastating conventional range performance with high velocity, 0 to 400 yd impact, the bullet continually expands throughout its penetration path. The thick shank of the jacket and high InterLock ring keep the core and jacket together providing 50 to 60% weight retention. Best extended range terminal performance available upon low velocity, 400+ yd impacts, the Heat Shield tip drives backward into the bullet to initiate expansion. Exhibiting controlled expansion with a large mushroom and 85 to 90% retained weight, the bullet provides deep penetration and large cavities. Available as component bullets or in factory loaded Precision Hunter ammunition.

My son looked only for this item throughout the south and your store was the only one with his Ammo. The 10 year Old grandson got his first Deer!!!!!! Thanks for asking. Jw

the most accurate factory ammo the I've ever used...better than my handloads and took a cow elk with one shot...very happy with it and wish Hornady could keep up with demand

This load shoots sub MOA from my Browning X-Bolt Hells Canyon Speed. My sons have taken several deer with this rifle and bullet combo and all have been quick one shot kills at significant distance (350 - 605 yards). We love the Hornady ELDX Hunter. Lethal, accurate, and dependable.

The most accurate factory round I have ever used. I took a mule deer in Wyoming this year at 366 yards, dropped on the shot. Later I took a Pronghorn at 200 yards in a driving snow storm, also dropped on the shot. Recently, while target shooting, I took two shots, one at 200 yards and one at 300 yards. Both shots were touching the one inch bull at 1 o'clock. Identical shot placement that amazed myself and my partner. See pictures submitted.

My Ruger American loves this ammo. This is hands down, the best factory hunting load for 6.5 Creedmoor on the market.

So far I’m satisfied with this cartridge. I’ve only punched holes in paper as of now, but it shoots tight groups through my gun.

Purchased for my wife's cow hunts. After her first cow went down with 1 shot, I used for my bull hunt with same result. Grandson used it for his bull hunt and again success.

Have shot these in 6.5 creedmore for many years now. Taken multiple deer and elk with them and they always drop them in their tracks.

Haven’t had a chance to hunt with this bullet, but I’m ready. Can cover a quarter over three shots, great grouping

Best shells I have ever used. I just shot a Moose in British Columbia that weighed 1400lbs and was 326 yds away in one shot.

Good 6.5 crm ammunition in a Browning western hunter. Did not shoot well with the factory muzzle break.

Tc compass here. Best boxed deer ammo you can get. You pay the premium but sub Moa groups for deer season makes you pretty confident

I bought these for hunting after using the Hornady Black as target rounds. These shot identical to the Black and were key-holing at 50 yards. I shot 2 deer, 1 through the neck and it dropped. The second was a nice buck that I shot in the front of the chest as it walked towards me. The bullet went through the heart, somehow broke the shoulder and lodged in the last rib. The deer didn't go 50 yards. These did exactly what I needed and I'll continue to use them

Shoots .5” groups at 100 yrds in my Christensen arms mesa. This rifle/ammo combo has taken 3 elk (2 cows and 1 large Bull), 1 Dall sheep, 2 desert bighorns, 1 antelope, and a mule deer (multiple hunters). Ranges varied from 140 - 455 yards. Terminal performance was excellent on every one. I sold my reloading equipment cuz it just doesn’t make sense for me to reload anymore to get accuracy; as long as I can get ammo. My adjustable turrets are set for these bullets, so I have to keep plenty in stock.

Excellent ammunition. Very accurate. Sub MOA in my Browning x-bolt. I have killed a few deer with it out to 250 yards. Terminal performance was great with complete pass throughs for all deer harvested.

Great grouping at 200 yds. Very accurate. Great accuracy with a high-tech, EXPANDING hunting bullet. This has very good knockdown power.

I haven’t lost a deer with them yet. Seem to be very consistent on paper. The only time I didn’t get pass through is a 150yd shot on an Axis that was a shoulder shot. It shattered the shoulder and didn’t go 20.

My T/C Compass II in 6.5 Creedmoor loves this ammo, sub-2 MOA ten shot groups consistently at 100m, no tuner or muzzle brake needed. I have a recurring alert set up at AmmoSeek for whenever this comes in stock.

This round and Nosler Ballistic tip 140gr are the best 6.5CM rounds out there. 1 shot immediate killing 460lb+ feral hogs @ 350 yards all day long son!!!
