Hornady 9mm 115gr FTX Critical Defense Ammunition 25rds – 90250

Very good PD bullet's. Unfortunately it's hard to find, and a bit too expensive. Overall good if you want a good home defense round.

Sure. I strongly recommend these for home defense in any quality 9mm firearm. Tests have shown this to be an extremely reliable round.

Haven’t had any two legged Varmints to test them on yet. But, overall appearance looks like they will stop what I need to stop. Hard to find these at prices as good as here.

These rounds cycle perfectly through my S&W Shield EZ 9mm. They shoot to the same point as my 115 gr hardball, so no adjustment needed. Recoil seemed a bit lighter than for hardball. All in all, a good round. Comforting to know that it passes the FBI penetration test.

These are probably the best bullets ever made. Accurate. Expansion. Powerful. The quality is great. You can see and feel it. Tight groups with minimal flash. Perfect for nighttime situations. The expansion is a horrid cloverleaf that looks like it would gut a bear.

Nice to get some home defense ammo for a somewhat decent price. Would be nice to get 1,000 rounds of CCI though.

I was looking for a defensive cartridge that performs to FBI criteria in the bare gel and denim tests from a short barrel without being prone to overpenetration. After researching what was out there, this seems like a cartridge that fits my needs very well, for defensive purposes inside and outside of the home. I use this in my carry pistol and never have an issue at the range with failure to feed, failure to fire or failure to eject. Coupled with the engineering of the round to have reliable stopping power for it's size, it's very reliable.

It is Hornady ammo, so it is good. Shipping was good. Palmetto State Armory is a top company to deal with so you do not have to worry about not getting what you ordered.

Very accurate! Tight groups. The ammo fed reliably and the recoil was very manageable. This is my go to carry ammo.

My 9mm personal defense round for CZ 75 BD and M&P Shield. Will shoot (from a ransom style rest) less than 1.5 inch 10 shot groups at 25 yards.

very accurate ammo. i use as my ccw ammo and also occasionally during practice. Palmetto delivered quickly and at a good price.

I’ve always run Hornady when it comes to edc and hunting. Always great ammo and these are any different. This is what I trust my life with.

Shot it into ballistics gel, and it stopped about 12-14 inches in after flipping backwards and doing some damage.

Extremely well made ammunition, Lighter recoil and less muzzle flash still seems to hit steel with a resounding thud. This ammunition seems specifically made for smaller 9mm's and it seems to give great performance out of my Glock 43, 43X and Sig 365. It is expensive however so aside from testing its functionality I will leave this in the magazines in case of an emergency.
