1 year agoProbably had a bad batch, but i had more ftf's than bangs with the first 50 rounds through my vp9, usp expert and ruger. Hornady offered to replace, but I havent taken them up on it yet. I have had no issues with other calibers of this round, so I figure it was a fluke...that being said I cant recommend as anything more than expensive range ammo

1 year agoI can always trust Hornady bullets and their ammunition. Although the American Gunner line is considered budget ammo, it functions very well, both on target (<3 inches @ 50 feet off-hand) as well as in reactive targets (melons) through my P85 Ruger and Sig P-320 Full TACOPS). No FTF/FTE. That being said, the accuracy nod goes to the Sig but that could be its 5-inch barrel versus the old Ruger's 4-inch.
