The Hornady Black line of ammunition features new bullet and propellant technology specifically created for optimal performance in a variety of shooting applications with supreme accuracy and consistency. Its clean burning propellant technology provides 15 to 20% temperature reduction, resulting in a progressive burn rate with minimal flash. Made in a .308 Winchester cartridge, this round is loaded with a 168 grain Hornady A-MAX projectile, which is designed to fit, feed and function with direct impingement, gas piston, suppressed, unsuppressed, bolt, supersonic, subsonic, rifle-length, mid-length, carbine, and pistol AR platforms. The A-MAX bullet, engineered with a low-drag polymer tip and caliber specific boat tail measurements, maximizes the ballistic coefficient and accuracy for near perfection in flight.

2 years agoThis ammo is really hard to find but Grabagun had some in stock, so I had to get it. Hornady uses the 168 grain AMAX bullet for this load. Extremely accurate and consistent in my Springfield Armory M1A National Match. Under 1 MOA. Love this stuff!

2 years agoHaven’t tested them out yet but from the reviews I love these shipping was fast and nothing was damaged.

2 years agoVery accurate ammo however my ar10 keeps puncturing the primer. Sub moa groups at 200 yards with or without my suppressor

2 years agoVery good bullet! It’s a very consistent shooting load and I’m very impressed with it. I’ve shot several deer with it and each went down quickly and efficiently. It’s also a great round for coyotes and groundhogs.

2 years agoMy rifle prefers 168 grain ammo and Hornady Black is exactly what I needed for the most accurate target or varmint cartridge.

2 years agoConsistently accurate. If you're in a situation where consistency counts, these work well. No surprises.

2 years agoGreat reliable and accurate ammo if your rifle likes it. One of my PA10s didn't like this at ALL and wouldn't group with it to save its life. But my other PA10 loves it and shot multiple 5 shot groups under 1 inch at 100 yards. Never had any kind of failures with this ammo. Always 100% reliable.
