I brought 300 rounds with me and all 300 rounds failed to fire! I spent hours disassembling every cartridge in an effort to find the cause. I drove 25 miles back home, picked up 300 more rounds of the same ammo and headed back to the range. In my rush to begin shooting, I knocked my rifle off the bench and broke the new Leupold scope off. Had to drive back to the house to get another scope then drive 25 miles back to the range. Took me a couple of hours to remount the scope then I was ready to shoot. As I was loading the magazine I found the source of the failure to fire of the first 300 rounds. I guess I'd been putting the bullets in the magazine backwards. I thought they could go either direction. Seems like they would put a label on the magazine, kinda like the label that shows you which way to put batteries in. Oh well, by the time I figured that out it was almost midnight and dark. I couldn't see the targets, so i went home. I would have to assume that the ammo is good though. This is exactly why I prefer to shoot BB guns, it doesn't matter which direction the BB's go in! ________________________________________________________________________ the clip goes one way and the bullets wont cycle backwards so how is what you did physically possible

I shoot the 6.5 Creedmoor savage and there is no comparison between this round and cheaper ammo. And when compared to the more expensive nosler match ammo it is equal or better. Best 6.5 rounds out there

I use it in .308 (Tikka t3x) for hunting as all round ammo, very precise also on log distance due to the heavier bullet. Used it for Deer, Elk and Black bear, one cartridge = 1 animal.

I bought a box of this and the 212 grain ELD X for 300 PRC and I managed a few 5 shot groups all sub MOA with the 212 grain. The 220 was 2.5 to 3 moa groups at best and the last cartridge I shot missed about 12 MOA high and right and then got stuck in the rifle chamber. Rifle was a browning X bolt Western Hunter long range. So just pay attention if you buy this.

Purchased Hornady Match in 168 BTHP and 178 BTHP. Test fired 5 shot groups from 10 different manufacture/bullet weight combinations. The Hornady Match were in the bottom third for all groupings. (Cadex .308 20" barrel) Velocity varied by up to 38 fps. Might shoot better from a longer barrel.
