Accuracy and terminal performance are the cornerstones of Hornady Precision Hunter factory loaded ammunition. These matchaccurate hunting loads allow the ELDX bullet to achieve its maximum ballistic potential. Propellants used in this line are clean burning and loaded to uniform capacity for consistent shot to shot results regardless of temperature. The ELDX Heat Shield tip defies the effects of aerodynamic heating and retains its shape to maintain the highest inclass BC over its entire trajectory.

1 year agoused a 300 win with 220 grain eldx bullet. Shot a elk under 200 hundred yards. I hit the elk twice and it did not go down. Hit it again the third time the elk did go down and was not dead. When I finally got to the it expired. While field dressing the elk found all three bullets two of the bullets didn't not penetrate through the shoulder and the third did not pass through the boiler room found it on the other side in the hide. All three bullets core and jacket separated not a good hunting

1 year agoI would like to have the ELD-M ammo, but cannot find them in stock. These were the only ones I could find anywhere for my new rifle. I understand we have an ammo crisis yet again, but Hornady really needs to step up and support the cartridges they came up with because they are currently the only ones producing them. I have seen that Lapua will be producing brass for the 300 PRC later this year which will be nice as long as I can find the rest of the components. Glad to have some ammo, but need more. Time will tell if the brass holds up to reloading.
