2 years agoOnce I got used to the inline nature of the bullpup design, I became fairly accurate up to about 40 yards. I've run 00 buck, #4 shot, and slugs through this weapon with no problems. About 500 rounds so far. I like the maneuverability and compact size of this weapon for the amount of power. I also like the double feed tubes. It's nice not to have to reload. I'm only able to load 10 rounds of 2 3/4 shells. But, 10 rounds is enough.

1 year agoAdded a muzzle break a recoil reduction pad and an extended mag tube selector switch. Took it out put 100 shells through it no problem and I wasn’t sore the next day. Will be my go to home defense

1 year agoExcellent shotgun. Got her all dressed up and ready to party. Ran flawlessly pre and post modifications. Kicked like a mule, but now recoil feels like a suppressed AR with the muzzle brake and recoil pad.

1 year agoI have fired all types of shells, and not a single malfunction, It has been a solid shotgun that is well balanced, smooth on the action, and extremely accurate with slugs at 50 yds, and very consistent patterns with buck shot (Flight Control) up to 35 yds. I love the dimensions, and weight of it considering i have 14+1 loaded into it.

1 year agoKel-Tec produced a very cool weapon here! Takes a few runs to be smooth and consistent with the selectors. Functions awesome, and is super capable! Best rowdy hun or self defense I own! Palmetto priced out better than anyone else!

1 year agoDefinitely an interesting pump shotgun, I got this gun because it was on sale and a fun gun. The only “problem” I have ran into is that I have to make sure that I fully cycle the pump harder than I would a traditional pump shotgun but maybe you can say that is new parts/springs, not many jams other than ineffective pumping. Eats ammo. My pic rail was blemished but only in form not function and I got this gun at a decent sale so I’m not complaining or sending it back, as it really wouldn’t be worth the hassle.

1 year agoIt’s a kel-Tec ksg! Packaging was alright and shipping fast. It was clean and I’ve been able to get it on the range. All good! Only issue is one of the jagged lips over the feed tube is a bit stiff. I’ll oil it next time I clean her up.

1 year agoDefinitely cool. Pretty heavy when packed but you aren't hiking with it. I put a combat light on top rail and didn't agree with reviews that said a foregrip was necessary. It needs an ar type ambi safety.

1 year agoI’ve always wanted a Kel-Tec KSG and I’ve been on the lookout for some time now. Each and every local shop that I’ve been to was either sold out or a bit out of my preferred price range. I came across PSA’s website and was able to get a great deal during their St. Patrick’s Day special. I’m extremely happy with my purchase and I will definitely be buying from their site from here on out. Thank you!
just some doode
1 year agoPros: reliable once broken in, great capacity! Cons: Stout recoil and the pad really needs a bit extra cushion. also the barrel nut makes it hard to choke or can it. hitech custom concepts is great for fixing the few issues with it

1 year agoAwesome design, great ergonomic fit, excellent fit and finish, performs perfectly. Highly recommended!

1 year agoKicks hard. Definitely recommend the butt pad and a muzzle brake. This shotgun doesn't like high brass shells so try running low/medium brass.

1 year agoThis is probably one of the most versatile shotguns out there shoots awesome put around 500 rounds thru it no problems added some aftermarket stuff love that v6 muzzle break greatly reduced recoil you can put slugs in one side birdshot in the other side I have nothing but good things to say it’s a great home defense or just to take some shots at the range

1 year agoAwesome shotgun. Awesome company. Shipped within 2 days after purchase. Couldn’t be more pleased. It’s a pleasure to shop with a company that supports the same values as me. 2A all day.

1 year agoI've wanted a KSG since they first came out and it did not disappoint. Lots of fun, no function issues. Ran 25 mini shells and a bunch of 2 3/4 buck shot with no issues. PSA was great as always.

1 year agoTook about 3 hours to clean up out of the box - plenty of heavy, reddish-brown oil. The bore took the most time. Sprayed the inside CLP, let it soak in, then went to town with the usual tools. The balance and weight distribution are ideal, especially for anyone who may have arthritis in the T-spine. No discomfort at all. The stock sling that came in the box is functional, works well with the gun’s integral attachment points, and gets the job done. If you are loading with bare hands, it can

1 year agoA great shotgun with plenty of capacity. Would like to see the magazine switch moved. The front sling slots are a bit too close to the end of the barrel causing it to deposit powder residue on the sling and may in time cause burning from the hot gasses but I still love it.

1 year agoExcellent price! I bought $300. Dollars of upgrades and still paid less than retail price! Charging Handle, muzzle brake tube selector switch, grip tape, light and red dot! Shot gun is a home defender with attitude now!

1 year agoAwesome shotgun at a great price! I’ve wanted one for sometime but the prices had gotten way out of line. Got mine for a smokin deal. Thanks PSA!

1 year agoLet me tell ya, Palmetto had a SMOKING deal on these. I have used one before, but never owned one. As all will relay, you do have to rack this with some authority to feed properly. Once you've practiced, it becomes natural. I added a crimson trace red dot (also from Palmetto at a bargain basement steal), along with a Midwest industries handstop - MLOK rail, and a KAK broom handle forward grip for racking leverage. If you get a little extra scratch, buy some Aquila mini slug shells. I
