2 years agoVery good so far. Bought for my wife and she loves it. Excellent trigger, reasonable accuracy and only one failure to feed in about 100 rounds, which could have been an old round.

2 years agoEats everything I have put in it from 25 year old thunderbolts to CCI subsonic. NO malfunctions of any kind, but the bore accumulates lead faster than I expected (could the 25 year old thunderbolts). The only big problem is the threads on the thread adapter or barrel are not exactly concentric with the bore. Check before you try any kind of muzzle device.

2 years agoSo, I read the reviews of this vs the GSG Firefly. I wanted a good pistol for not alot of cash, because it is cheap to shoot, as compared the the rest of my arsenal of handguns. I have a big hand, so I was skeptical of the P17, as the GSG is a 1911 clone, and I know the way that feels in my hand. I read one review here that a gentleman had big hands and it fit very well. GSG, one mag. Extra, $23. P17, three mags. I was starting to sway, and then it went on sale for $199.99 and free shipping? I

2 years agoThis is an excellent weapon and an excellent deal. On the very first round - it failed to go into battery. Slammed it closed, and pew pew – center mass. Never had a problem after that, other than me getting used to the controls on the weapon. As someone else mentioned, you should use 40 grain. Worked great with 36 grain, but I know it would have cycled better with 40 grain. My wife mentioned how light the gun felt. Out of curiosity, I weighed my 1911 .45 with full mag. It was 2.61 lbs. The P17

2 years agoThis is one fun gun. It's a great little shooter. After a cleaning and oiling took it out and ran 3 magazines through it. Sights spot on right out of the box. Since. I have ran about 500 rounds through it. Had a couple of jam ups during that time. I like to shoot if for fun but am also using it to teach my young granddaughter gun safety and shooting skills. She shoots very well with it, being light it is easy for her to handle. It's easy to field strip and clean. With three mags it is at a

2 years agoThis is an excellent 22lr pistol and considering the price it’s perfect. When new out of the box I had a few failure to feed but after cleaning it and oiling it, it now works perfect. Make sure you try to use hotter ammo. The other nice thing was that it comes with 3 magazines that hold 16 each. It has a great size small and handy and I put a red dot.

1 year agoI purchased mine simply because I’ve always wanted a 22LR pistol to add to my collection of firearms. The P17 caught my eye simply because of the nearly unanimous stellar reviews online. I’ll keep this review short and sweet. This pistol feels GREAT in the hand and is EXTREMELY well crafted. It’s VERY lightweight and has a PREMIUM feel to it. I’ve fired 500 rounds of various ammo without feed issues. There is the absolute faintest of recoil and this little pistol performs flawlessly. If you’re looking for a great 22LR pistol to own, look no further!

1 year agoKeltec does it again! This thing is flawless out of the box. This is my second Keltec. I bought a CP33 a few weeks beforehand and that thing is unbelievable accurate. I shared a photo of the P17 with a few of my other treasures at the Birchwood Shooting Park in Chugiak, Alaska.

1 year agothis is a great little gun! its light and has a super sized magazine, super fun to shoot. only flaw is you have to get a special speedloader for it. it would be great for concealed carry but I like my Taurus 9mm for that.

1 year agoShe is ugly. She is grace. Seriously though I love this pistol. With a mostly polymer frame, it cycles beautifully suppressed and is "hollywood quiet" with subsonic ammunition.

1 year agoMy first Kel-Tec, awesome pistol. Ultra light, large mag capacity and shoots like a dream. Very accurate and reliability is superb, Sent 500 rounds through her, not one issue. Get you one, you will love it.

1 year agoVery satisfied with this little pistol. Fun to shoot and a nice way to spend time with my grandsons. Cheap way to teach them how to shoot and how to handle a weapon.

1 year agoHad a great time at the range with this pistol. Extremely cheap to shoot for as long as you can! I upgraded to grip with a Hogue 18211 HandAll Beavertail and it really helped stabilize shots! Trigger upgraded to the MCARBO flat trigger, which feels phenomenal! Added a threaded barrel protector from NDZ, just in case I ever decide to throw a pew pew quiet maker on! All in all I really love this pistol. Whole family loves it. Really easy and light to shoot. 3 magazines... Can't beat it!!

1 year agoCouldn’t be happier with it. If you’re on the fence, just get it. You will probably spend more money on gas this week than what this gun costs.

1 year agoGreat little gun. Is not picky with the ammo. Approx 300 rounds and not one fail. Fun to shoot and very light. Great for the $$.
