2 years agoMy third Kel Tec and possibly my favorite. It’s not as accurate as the CP33 but it’s so much less finicky and will eat any .22 you put in it. It has one of the best triggers I’ve ever used and it’s also the least expensive gun I’ve ever bought. I bought a trigger get for my Sub2000 and it’s still not half as good as the trigger on the P17. I plan to get another one when they’re available again since I gave it to my mother for coyotes.

2 years agoThis little number is perfect for introducing new shooters to the sport. It is very user friendly, and accurate enough for what it is. I love it. Agree with other reviewers that it isn't as ammo finicky as some. Just shot it this weekend, and had 5 people in the group familiar with firearms; everybody liked it.

1 year agoI love my P17, it is super fun to shoot. Great for new shooters or young shooters with very little recoil. The gun is light and easy to handle. Plink Plink!!

1 year agoAmazing semi auto pistol, thank you Kel Tec and SW! Only have ~200 through it, 4 different ammo brands, and flawless. Remarkable trigger, super lightweight, perfect size/fit, easy to disassemble/clean, and very accurate. My second Kel Tec(Sub 2k Gen 2 9mm). Love Kel Tec and very appreciative to Sportsman’s Warehouse for offering it at such a reasonable price!

1 year agoFantastic pistol for the price, 16 round magazines, comes with three of them, and a threaded barrel adapter! For about $180 after tax, if it’s in stock, buy one or two immediately It took me over a year of trying before successfully being able to buy one quick enough when it was in stock.

1 year agoGreat pistol, the polymer around the slide was causing some malfunctions but I sanded and greased it which solved the problem. Three 16 round mags that feed very well into a gun that eats almost everything is fantastic especially for the price.

1 year agoI had been trying to buy one for about 6 months. I am glad that I bought it when I did. 5 days later, the price increased by $50.

1 year agoThis 22 pistol is really sweet. First, it is lightweight and easy to hold and shoot. But the 16+1 capacity is so nice, compared to many other 22's that hold maybe half that many rounds. I also love the sights on this gun. And for the money, you get a lot of bang for the buck! I highly recommend it.

1 year agoGreat firearm, I own 3 P17s in the 3 colors, this so far is the best 22LR handgun that you can buy. compared to Taurus TX22, Sig 365, Chiappa, GSX, Ruger, Walther, Beretta etc. (I own all 22s brands on the market) Go get it when you have the opportunity to find it available. Runs any 22 LR ammo without any issues, but stay away of Armscor 22LR, fails on all my 22s

1 year agoI have only shot mine about 40 rounds. Seems to shoot well. The trigger is a lot better than more expensive brands. It may shoot better than my Keltec . 22 mag . Breaks down easily.

1 year agoThis was a “first gun” for my daughter. I already own one and it is a pleasure to shoot. It is easy to shoot, and easy to strip down and clean. I think that for small frame women it is a perfect pistol to start enjoying the occasional trip to the range.

1 year agoI love my KelTec P17! It’s fun to shoot. It’s super easy to clean! And- compared to my 380’s and 9mm’s… very inexpensive for ammo! So far- I’ve shot several brands of 22LR with zero issues.

1 year agoAn inexpensive light weight, fully functional exceptionally accurate truck pistol. If you see one, buy in. Immediately.

1 year agoGreat reliable and fun little pistol. Very light weight and small enough to carry anywhere. Perfect hiking pistol. Great plinker, accurate and reliable. Doesn't seem to mind different brands of ammo unlike other 22 pistols that are extremely picky. Worth getting one or even two.

1 year agoOne of my favorite 22’s. Very reliable. Cheap mags. Feels like a toy but I have put 1500 plus through one and it still goes bang. I did put an MCarbo trigger in it. I don’t like the big ole booger hook.

1 year agoBest 22lr pistol on the market. Fully ambidextrous, easy to clean/maintain, Runs anything you put in it.

1 year agoVery nice gun. I had no failures shooting this gun. I put about 500 rounds through it so far. I bought the P17 red dot combo, so this one will be used less.

1 year agoI ordered a Kel-tec P-17 22 lr pistol from Palmetto State Armory online. I was able to pick it up at my location within 72 hours. I called their Customer Service to check of the item status and they were very courteous and the made sure that I knew what documents I needed to pick up the pistol. I am very happy with my Kel-tec P-17 and I would gladly do business with Palmetto State Armory again, any time.
