In 2008, our Chief Design Engineer, Tobias Obermeit had a vision to build a semi-auto .22 WMR pistol that holds 30 rounds in a flush-fit magazine. Roughly based on an early, futuristic looking George Kellgren design, the PMR30 was released in 2010 with high praise and stands out as one of the most innovative handguns in the world today.
Features:
- Firepower – she’s quite svelte, but don’t let the sleek design fool you, the PMR30 defines handgun firepower with its 30 rounds .22 Magnum capacity
- Firepower – although perfect for backpacking, camping and range day plinking, the PMR30 can also play a role in home defense for the recoil shy among us
- Hi-Viz sights – right out of the box, the PMR30 offers excellent target acquisition due to its fiber optic front and rear sights, it also features an integrated accessory rail to mount a weapon light for those dark rooms or evening situations
- Accurate – the Hi-Viz sights, 4.4 inches barrel, excellent 5 lb trigger and the option to mount an optic all play a role in the PMR’s accuracy, as long as you pay attention to the fundamentals, the PMR30 will deliver
- Fun – unique – powerful
- The heavy duty lightweight
- Lightweight – manageable – firepower

2 years agoHorrible firearm and expensive. All kind of fails and quality is so bad that I won't even pay $99.00 for that. Do not waste your money. With $500.00, you can buy three cheap firearms with 1000 times better performance than this toy. I own over 100 firearms, all styles and several brands, and I never had this kind of experience with a firearm. I cannot trust in this PMR30 in a squirrel attack to defend myself. Stay away from this failure until Keltec makes the right changes to make it work. Get a pencil for self-defense instead of this plastic gun.

2 years agoThese Gen 2's feed flawlessly. Brand new with no breakin, ran first two boxes of maxi mags without any malfunctions. Triggers on these things are comparable to a target pistol. Fun to shoot and thirty rounds before reloading...a dream come true. I call it my movie gun because it never seems to run out of ammunition. Keltec obviously listened to the feedback from the Gen 1 owners and corrected the problems. Gen 1's had the fluted barrel and short front sight. Gen 2's have the solid barrel and longer front sight. I was so impressed with the Gen 2 i bought another.

2 years agoI've only put 150 rounds through it so far, but zero FTF or stovepipes. It is a lot of fun to shoot, the grip is comfortable and the recoil is minimal. Super light weight- fully loaded, It's lighter than my G19 is without the mag in it. It will go hiking and camping with me for sure. My new CC?

2 years agoSuper fun! My wife really likes it because with a two handed grip it is easy to shoot with minimal recoil yet still feels like a “real gun”

2 years agoFinally got to take my PMR 30 Home & I must say i could not be any happier with my purchase. Aside from the mess of the covid 19 pandemic caused in every function of life. I purchased the gun online from sportsmans wharehouse it shipped to my local store in about 5-7buisness days which i thought was pretty good. But the background took exactly 4 weeks, 1 month i had to wait before i could take my pistol home which is ridiculous & absurd but what can you do. That said sportsmans

2 years agoGreat pistol in 22WMR. This pistol is comfortable in your hand and fun to shoot. The only negative I have encountered is availability of ammo. At this time it is very difficult to find 22WMR in stock at any vendor.

2 years agoFun gun to shoot. Brought 2, one for me and one for the wife. She really likes hers. No recoil and fairly accurate. I like the 30 round clip.

2 years agoThis is better than amazing! I’ve already put about 500 rounds thru the “new toy” with only one unexpected negative thing. Because of the short barrel, all of the powder doesn’t have a chance to burn off (but we know this). The problem is that with the design of the weapon, you get “blowback” and you will get the flash in your face (again the reason to shoot with proper safety gear). How do you stop this? Clean your weapon after each and every trip to the range!

2 years agoVery happy with this pistol. Mcarbo steel ramp and upgrades make it run like a top. Added red trigger and it is only has a 3 lb pull.

2 years agoFirearm is fine. Service throws any good deal right down the toilet. I have bought three or four firearms here but never again. Will go to other online dealers who won’t leave you hanging about where your order is. My advice is go somewhere else, anyplace else will give you better service.
