The Kel-Tec PMR-30 is a lightweight, full size pistol chambered for the flat-shooting .22 Magnum cartridge (.22WMR). The PMR-30 operates on a unique hybrid blowback/locked-breech system. This operation system allows for the use of a wide variety of ammunition as it seamlessly adjusts between locked breach and blowback operation, depending on the pressure of the cartridge. It uses a double stack magazine of a new design that holds 30 rounds and fits completely in the grip of the pistol. The trigger is a crisp single action with an over-travel stop. The manual safety is a thumb activated ambidextrous safety lever (up for SAFE, down for FIRE). The slide locks back after the last shot and a manual slide lock lever is also provided. The light, crisp trigger pull and fiber optic sights make the PMR-30 ideal for target shooting and hunting small game.

1 year agoIn my opinion the magazine for this gun is poorly designed/engineered. It is very difficult to load the cartridges properly and the result is almost constant failures to feed. I have used a lot of guns and never encountered a problem like this. Kel Tec should recall these guns until this issue is fixed.

1 year agoGreat pistol extremely accurate. Working on feed issue replacing feed ramp and a few mods to enhance reliability. Easy to keep on target, lighter than I expected but wide grip works perfect for my hands. Would suggest cleaning thoroughly before first use. Field stripping is quick and easy. 1 year agoThe gun feels great, smooth shooter but has a problem with loading a round sometimes. Don’t know if it’s the spring in the magazine or the design of the magazine itself.

1 year agoARMY Major here, I know fire arms. Rim-fire is taboo, but Keltec figured it out. This semi-auto .22 wmr hits hard and runs well; IF the proper ammo is used. 1 year agoLight weight and good balance along with very comfortable grip makes this a gun of choice for many uses. Very smooth and reliable action. Only drawback is the tough to load magazines when you go past the twenty cartridge mark. So I pack forty rounds instead of sixty in two mags and still have a great time.

1 year agoI really like this gun; lightweight, fun to shoot. However, keeps jamming on me. I’m using the recommended CCI ammo and keep getting double load jamming. Very frustrating

1 year agoThe rounds that are available and the exit FPS of the .22 mag are a great plus. The drawback that I find is that the action is not as smooth as it should be...and the magazine becomes quite difficult to load when you get to 15 rounds or so. It is claimed that the mag will take 30 but I don't believe it.
