KelTec P50 5.7×28 Pistol, Black – P50BLK

Picked up my new KELTEC P50 today. 1st gun I’ve purchased online. Great experience. Picked it up 4 days after ordering. Heard it advertised on Dana Loech’s radio program. Had it sent to Quakertown Armory (formally Eastern Arms) Could not have been easier. Thank you Guns.com Dave B. T-ville, PA

Going to the range soon to check this pistol out. The one thing you will notice is how difficult it is to load the magazine. I mag loader would be nice. Meanwhile, I found that wearing gloves with rubber grips help to ease the pain and help slide the 5.7 in position to be readied for the next round. Once sited this pistol should be fun to shoot.

I ran a bunch of rounds through it so far just to make sure it functions probably. I have yet to put an optic on it to verify accuracy.

Guns.com shipped fast and everything arri ed in great shape. Only complaint is one of the sling connectors was slightly too large to connect to the gun. Thats on keltec though, not guns.com

Excellent pistol, good case. Very easy to load and very accurate shooting, like I said very good weapon and complete package, I very happy with it.

Loading the magazine really sucks, after ten minutes to load 27 rounds in a 50 magazine I gave up. I refuse to purchase the little cheap plastic item for $38.00 to supposed to make loading a little easier.

Shoots well. Very smooth. Trigger is nice. Takes a little getting used to as no other gun I’ve shot has an action quite like this one the way in which it breaks open for loading. Mags are nice as they are same as the P90 and I can use them on multiple platforms

The P50 is a very interesting weapon and it could be very good for a house to house clearing team. It is light accurate and very consealable . How ever I am having trouble with it. It is very stiff with the release clip for the cover so that you can load the clip. I can't remove the cover from the pistol very easily. I would highly recommend this for anyone. Nice weapon, love the 50 rd mag. Loading the magazine was easy once I started using the Mag loader. Be advise the just a mag loader is just that and not a speed loader.

not too impressed,,, i got it on an illogical whim. no real good argument for it. Kinda the opposite of "the best of multiple worlds" actually,, more like the worst of multiple words,,, but, its different and sometimes just getting different is okay.

Shot 75 rounds today for first time since purchasing P50. Failed to load one round after about 25 rounds of 50 in magazine. Had hard time opening charging handle to eject/load, etc. Not sure if me or malfunction. Easy to clean, super pain to load mags even with mag loader. Very light recoil. Hopefully will get better as used more.

The P50 is sufficient for it purpose; light weight minimum recoil with 2 high capacity magazines. Braced & silenced the operation of the pistol in a SBR configuration makes this NFA item extremely comfortable to engage targets as well as keep your shot group tight. I haven't shot it yet, But ! , I am very excited about it & I looked at a video on how to take it apart to clean . Talk about simple ! From the videos I have seen it seems extremely accurate even at a distance with the proper sight. I ordered the 64 grain 5.7 x 28 mm ammo for more power. By far the most fun 5.7 chambered firearm to shoot! It gets even better once you add a muzzle break and red dot! Possibly the best Kel-Tec ever made.

It works good but it looks even better. Decent little trigger. Get the FN mags for it. Brace adapter was slick. Overall pretty cool shit.

Bad Ass backpack gun!!! Very lite weight ammo & gun. Accurate out of the box. Trigger pull was smooth and lite. I would recommend it for backpacking or some that need to be ready for just about any thing.

This pistol exceeded my expectations. Not only is it cool it is very accurate with a very good trigger out of the box. I added a Holosun 507C, Inforce Light under the barrel and a folding pistol brace which transforms this into something really effective for self defense. The P50 also makes an excellent suppressor host and I was shocked at how quiet it was even though the ammo isn't subsonic, definitely hearing safe. Works great with several types of mags (FN, ProMag, etc.). Great accuracy at 25 yards and works great with Optimus Micro suppressor. I added a Farrow Tech folding brace which makes it a nice compact backpack-style gun. I did have to (re) loctite (blue) the rear trunnion screws after 300 rounds...other than that no issues at all.

I love this gun, it is becoming my 1st choice for routine gun needs. I have fired over 300 rounds so far with zero mis-fires. It's low recoil makes it easy to remain on target. I purchased this as capable gun I could carry in a back pack while hiking in areas I shouldn't need a gun but have one just in case, and with the 50 round magazine I don't need to carry extra mags and ammo. It fits nicely under the seat of my truck, or under my bed should I need quick access to a gun with lots of ammo.
