1 year agoI love this firearm, super accurate, no recoil, have put a thousand rounds of 115gr, 124gr and 147gr, no jams or malfunctions. Performs well both indoor and outdoor steel gallery ranges.

1 year agoI ordered this gun (10MM) online and received it last week. I was disappointed in the condition of the gun. It has scratch marks on the side and looks like it had been shot because there was powered around the barrel. Unfortunately I didn't take my glasses in the store to do a better inspection. Because I know how to work on guns, I was able to fix the scratches, but am very disappointed in Bass Pro for not letting me know the gun had some blemishes. The gun itself is nicely crafted.

1 year agoGreat pistol. It’s a Kimber so what more could you expect. The trigger is great, smooth recoil. Yes it’s a 1911 9mm first one I have owned in this caliber. But the overall it’s a beautiful pistol.

1 year agoThe only two things I found wrong about this gun were after test firing 150-200 rounds were the grip screws loosened up and the trigger pull was inconsistant. Torqued the screws to 10in lbs. The trigger after 6 tests ranged from 2.9 to 3.8 lbs per pull, and averaged 3.1. Overall I gave it 5 stars for consistant shooting, very accurate, shot at 20, 30 40, 50 feet as that's what I feel the average shooter will shoot.

1 year agoIf you've heard about the Rapide Dawn and seen how beautiful this Kimber 1911 is, then I am sure you want to own one. I have owned the 9mm version for 4 months and I love it! Shoots like a dream with less kick than most 9mm handguns I've shot and a lot less than a .45. Which most prefer for a 1911 because they feel if it's not chambered in .45 caliper, it's not a real 1911. But if you shoot this 9mm it will change your thinking. I like the 9mm over the .45 not only because it's easier on the hands and wrists, but because the ammo is cheaper and you still have the great look and feel or the 1911. But stay away from 10mm because I hear people are having a lot of issues with misfires and jams with the 1911s chambered in 10mm. My only gripe, like most Kimber owners who paid almost $1700 for this handgun, it only comes with 1 magazine! I have semi autos I paid under $400 that came with 2 magazines. Kimber needs to change that and give 2 mags.

1 year agoExceptional gun in my Rapide Dawn .45! I wanted a 1911 .45 and based on a friend’s ‘classic brand’ recommendation i bought an R1 bc i got a good price on it. I was immediately dissappointed. I couldn’t shoot 3 bullets without a lock up, jam, lodged shell casing etc. Frustrated i sold it and bought the Rapide Dawn. The Kimber shot like butter right out of the box. Easier to shoot than my 9’s! Absolute perfection in a .45… Found my Kimber at Eurooptic’s site by Googling ‘best online gun store’.. seriously 😂 Ordered it to ship to my local FFL and Eurooptic had it out within 24 hours. Best price by FAR (saved me 20% from a greedy local ‘large boat store chain’ trying to gauge based on availability 😡 SUPER happy to have found Eurooptic! Will 100% buy from them again!
