Nicest 1911 money can buy. I've fired several times 1911's that cost twice as much and my friends and I agree this is one good shooter.

Very well thought out design. Rounded heel fells natural, no sharp edges anywhere. Checkering and serrations all machined nicely. Fiber sights are quick to acquire. A real pleasure to shoot.

This is a well made 1911. It is easy to carry. During the first 100 rounds only had one failure to feed.. Sights are easy to use and grips are very nice.

Heel already bob'd,custom grips, fiber sights, front strap 25 lpi and all steel. Only negative is the trigger creep. Had to recut the sear angle and the creep is gone. Overall a very nice pistol.

Another excellent gun from kimber, deadly accurate right out of the box, fit and finish is excellent, highly recommend owning one of these .45 s

There is nothing like an all steel 1911 for soft recoil. Yet this is an inch shorter and isn't bad to carry (it's still heavy compared to polymer guns) but, man is it sweet to shoot.
