1 year agoPeople complain about Kimber when they have to return them for refitting. So far my Kimber works fine, might need to break it in a little, but it works just as well as my other pistols. The quality is definitely there with everything else as advertised by Kimber. If you want a nice, fairly priced 1911 in 10mm, this is a pretty good choice. My other option was the Springfield Ronin but I cant find them anywhere. Either way I like this pistol because it shoots well and feels like quality.

1 year agoMy friend and I each bought the Custom TLE in 10mm. Since day 1, neither of us has been able to go through 3 magazines without a feeding failure. It ejects great but jams when feeding a new round. Have tried multiple types of ammo from bulk FMJ to premium hollow points with the same results. Even tried a Wilson Combat magazine to see if that makes a difference. Nope. Will be trading in for a Glock 20 whenever one becomes available.

Kimber is a long standing and reputable manufacturer. Like any such maker, if you contact them about the problems you’re having they will make it right. I’ve done this with another brand and they replaced the entire gun. There’s no need to sell at a loss. If you do, the new owner will probably send it in and have it repaired for free and
