2 years agoThis micro 9mm performed flawlessly at the range. I did use 124grain ammo, next time out I will try some 115grain. This STG came with two magazines. The only thing I would (and will) change is the trigger, 7lb (standard on all micro 9s) is quite a pull for a micro pistol. This is the only reason it gets 4 stars. Fit, form and function, light weight and easy to conceal. Nice pistol!

1 year agoBOUGHT THIS A WEEK AGO, FOUND LOADINGG THE CLIP IS VEERY DIFFUCLT DUE TO VERY STIFF SPRING. CAN ONLY LOAD 5 ROUNDS. I MAY BUY A SPEED LOADER. THE COCKING IS SO HARD I HAD TO USE A RUBBER GLOVE TO GET A GOOD GRIP TO COCK. OTHERWISE, THE HAND WOULD SLIP OFF.

1 year agoReally like the size, feel and weight. Has some kick but shoots well. Reminds me of a baby .45. Solidly made in the Kimber tradition. Love it!

1 year agoA good quality handgun. Feels solid unlike so many other guns that feel like plastic toys. It shoots nice, small enough for conceal carry, powerful enough to stop someone. I gave it a 4 because the safety was very difficult to move at first. I shot the gun at a range and then cleaned it thoroughly, the safety works smoothly now. Before I cleaned it, I thought I was going to have to send it back to the manufacturer and it would take 3 to 5 weeks to get my gun back.

1 year agoI bought the STG (Soft Touch Grip) version of the Kimber Micro 9 after I handled it in the store and it fit my small hands like a glove! The Extended 7 round magazine with a finger slot makes a world of difference versus handling other Subcompact 9mm guns of equal weight. Out of box I experienced numerous jams and misfeeds but it was windy and very cold outside. I took gun home and field stripped it and cleaned & lubed it thoroughly, For the next 7 days I worked the slide back and forth without the magazine in place to get the gun broke in. I then performed another field stripping (cleaned & lubed). My next trip to the range I experience NO jams or misfeeds. It just needed some TLC! I shoot predominantly 115 gr FMJ rounds (Brass & Steel case). This is a quality handgun that I enjoy shooting as well as cleaning. Very attractive gun!

1 year agoWas failing to eject with both mags randomly. 100 rds same issue. Adjusted ejector by bending it slightly enough to hold an empty shell in place. Another 300 rds flawlessly. Super accurate! Gave it a 5 star because it was an easy fix and a great EDC with very little printing and comfortable even for larger hands.

1 year agoGreat little gun purchase for my wife and polished the feedramp and oiled the mag springs and the inside of the box itself runs great a reliable but if you dont oil the mags and keep them lubricated it will not run reliability.

1 year agojust put 100 rounds of mixed brands, both fmj & hollow point through this thing without even a hint of an issue - hit what i was aiming for, most of the time - it's a keeper for sure - bought mostly for my wife, but i will carry it in the car and other snug places - using a Desantis cross draw owb holster that works great - no regret purchase - Cabela's guys were very helpful - next will be a "pretty" version for my wife - lot's to like -

1 year agoThe Kimber Micro 9 STG is a great little gun. The rubber grips are really excellent and make it a good shooter for such a small gun. Took to the range and put 150 rounds through with no issues. I would recomend working the slide to loosen up and cleaning ahead of taking to the range.

1 year agoGreat piece from looks, haven’t shot it yet but have polished it up considering it had this weird red color on the barrel and inside it when you shined a light you could see it,

1 year agoExcellent every day carry. The grip fits my large hand and seems to have a slight tackiness that provides stability when shooting. Very accurate and fast aiming when rapid firing. The trigger is a bit stiff but I assume it will get better when a few hundred rounds are run through it. Easily concealed, highly accurate, comfortable to shoot, all metal and a really attractive Gun. Highly recommended.

1 year agoBought this gun for my wife but I loved the way it looked so much, I kept it and bought her the Kimber two tone.

1 year agoI bought this gun a couple months ago for myself. I enjoy shooting it very much. I highly recommend for a concealed and carry

1 year agoJust 300 rounds fired but a great little gun. This model seems to have a better trigger than the basic models. The description says it has a match trigger and it does feel really smooth. The POI is just a bit left so I will have to drift the rear sight but that is normal. The mag spring is strong. It can be difficult to get 7 in the mags. Use a mag loader to help out. I have large hands and the grips fit great. Worth the $599

1 year agoBeautiful pistol, very well made. This shoots very well in the hand with the 'soft touch grips (STG) by Hogue. If a pocket pistol is what you are after, with power, it would be hard to top this lightweight and compact 9mm. Not big capacity - but very concealable and a very straight shooter. 5-stars.

1 year agoKimber, the name says it all. Very nice fit and finish. Great classic looks. The pistol has a superb rubber grip with finger groves along with the extended 7 round magazine with its matching finger grove for the little finger. The fiber optic front sight is a personal favorite. On a sour note, I found the takedown lever very hard to remove. Once it was removed, I used a 1/8” wide grinding wheel in my Dremel tool and cut a small recess on the back of the lever. Now I simply line up

1 year agoThis is a bad ass handgun. I was skeptical about purchasing a micro 9mm because I normally carry a fullsize 9mm. But this gun is very well made and fits in the hand extremely well. I am very impressed with it and would definitely recommend it, great quality at a descent price.

1 year agoI have an average size hand and the Kimber micro 9mm stg fits me like a glove! It's compact and slim size makes a great concealed Weapon for everyday carry or fun at the gun range!

1 year agoSlide release very stiff at first. Once taken to the range gotten use to. Love the looks and feel. Nice gun and very accurate. This will be my go to concealed carry gun.
