The Kimber Micro 9 Crimson Carry is an easily concealed pistol which features mild recoil, smooth trigger pull, and the intuitive operation of a 1911.
Micro slides are made to the tightest allowable tolerances, with barrels machined from stainless steel for superior resistance to moisture. All Micro frames are shaped from the finest aluminum for integrity and strength. In many respects a miniature 1911, among the most important Micro 9 design advantages is a single action trigger with the kind of short, smooth pull that ensures accuracy and builds confidence. The thumb safety, slide release and magazine release are pure 1911 as well. Standard features include a lowered and flared ejection port for flawless ejection and a beveled magazine well for fast, positive loading. Sights are steel – not plastic – and mounted in machined dovetails for additional integrity. Each Micro 9 includes a flush-fitting 6-round magazine and an extended 7-round magazine is available as an accessory.

2 years agoThis pistol is a tank, its strong and reliable! That said its heavy for a Commander size slab sides. At realistic fighting distances to 25 yards its 10 ring capable if you can get a Steady hold in your choice of stances. 2 years agoOwned a rock island gi .45 1911 and looked into upgrades. My local gun dealer suggested an ultra ms in 10mm which incorporated all of the upgrades i looked at making in the. 45. The 10mm ultra ms is a terrific handgun. Well made, high quality, accurate and a great value. I recommend it highly!

2 years agoI own 2 of these and they perform excellently. I own 1 Sig 938 and it’s a toss up on which is better. The stainless model needs fiber optic sights or night sights. You can’t go wrong for an EDC firearm.

2 years agoJust picked it up and haven’t had time to shoot it. Fit and finish are great. The grips feel great as well but not my style so I replaced them. It requires a good cleaning out of the box, it was covered in a sticky protective substance. Once that was done it cycles smoothly.

2 years agoJust received my Kimber from my FFL shop. Took apart, cleaned, re-oiled. Have not been to the range yet :-( Just a heads up! The spring in the magazine seems to be pretty strong, hard to put rounds in. Might think about getting a mag loader with your purchase. Can't wait to get to the range. (Great for conceal).

2 years agoI just bought a Kimber Micro 9. It is a very nice pistol. But, I have a problem, Guns ,com charged me $606.99 for the pistol and when it came in there was price tag of $549.99 on the box. What is going on with the pricing at Guns.com??? Are they ripping people off???

2 years agoShoots and looks great. Very disappointed it only came with one magazine( after I complained to Kimber about this they sent me a link to get another free mag…but still had to go the hassle to have a back up). Also, not set up to add a red dot on slide. Overall disappointed, especially with the costs of shipping ,tax and handling.

2 years agoSo far I’m very pleased but I haven’t go to the range yet and I pleased with the service buying the gun over the internet it was snag free but I wonder if I would have got the gun cheaper if I would have bought it locally ie transfer fees ect

1 year agoErgonomics on this firearm are great, looks absolutely amazing. But I lost track of how many times it jammed on me at the range while using defensive hollow point rounds. This would have been the perfect carry gun for me if it wasn't for the constant jams.
