1 year agoThe Desert Eagle has been on my long-list to get for some time now. I’m not sure if I ever would have bought one to be honest due to the size. But when the L5 came out I decided it was time to buy the .44 mag version. I like the shorter barrel length and feel of this gun. The fit and finish is very good, however be aware the black oxide finish easily scratches. 1 year agoMore of a novelty item would not use it for personal defense you have to hold it just right to avoid a Miss feed, takes a different stance to function 90% of the time. I am a Marine Corps veteran and a competition shooter this is the only gun I have to hold differently to get it to function. They even have a YouTube video from Magnum Research to show you the way to hold it to make it feed
