The extraordinary SwitchBolt 22 LR rifles are new for 2018. They are an evolutionary extension of the famously lightweight and accurate MLR rimfire rifles from Magnum Research. The SwitchBolt is born of extensive research and development, tested and perfected on the professional speed shooting circuit. Built in the USA, the SwitchBolt receivers, with integral Picatinny rail, are machined from a 6061-T6 forging, then hard coat anodized for an extremely durable finish. All barrels are chambered in the 22 Bentz configuration for exceptional accuracy. SwitchBolt rifles come equipped with a bolt handle on the left side of a right handed bolt. The result is an extremely fast and handy configuration for a right-handed shooter, whose trigger hand never has to leave the stock to charge the rifle. The lightweight SwitchBolt rifle is available in many barrel and stock configurations. Choose from patented graphite barrels, patented Ultra tensioned barrels, or patent pending TTS-22 suppressed barrels. These can be mounted in a variety of stocks, including ambidextrous models in wood or polymer. Select the SwitchBolt that best fits your needs and budget, then visit your favorite local gun dealer to order. This is your chance to own a legendary rifle designed to be the most accurate, lightweight rimfire on the market today.

1 year agoVery light, love the carbon barrel (it is not carbon weave, it’s unidirectional carbon). Comes with threaded barrel and nice knurled protector. Very much like the stock. Downsides: while trigger is pretty good, it is proprietary. You can’t upgrade pieces, but need to upgrade the entire assembly. Would like to have been able to swap in a trigger kit. The mag release is flat and not very good out of the box. It is also proprietary and to make a regular 10/22 release work you need to use a

1 year agoVery impressed with the quality of rifle and the carbon fiber wrapped barrel really cuts down the weight. With optics, mine weighs just over 5lbs now. Gun uses all standard 10 and 25 round 10/22 mags. The barrel alone on this gun is nearly the cost of a standard 10/22, and you get a custom stock and custom lightweight receiver with integrated pic rail as well. If you are looking for a new 10/22, you can’t beat the value of what you get with this gun for a small increase in cost.

1 year agoVery accurate and lite . It functions perfectly. I shot out to 200yds and hit very small targets. I am going to shoot off the bench to see how it groups. I would buy again.
