1 year agoI recently bought 4 boxes, so 200 rounds for me and my wife to practice with our revolvers at the range. Every time we would reload, at least one or more bullet casings would get stuck in the cylinder after firing them. We had such a difficult time that we had to use a screwdriver to carefully push them out of the cylinder. This issue was significantly worse on my S&W 19-3 than on our Colt Cobra, but on both cases we had to take several minutes between shots. I'm surprised because of the good th... Read more

1 year agoThis is a very soft-shooting load. Easy on the hand for beginners. Also very accurate. I'm not sure why it's more expensive than ammo with copper-jacketted bullets, but I just ordered another thousand rounds. Clean up is easy with PROLIX.

1 year agoThey go bang every time no much else to say other than the ammo runs pretty clean compared to ther cheap stuff. Regardless it's 38 special it's fun with less recoil and less money out of your wallet you can't go wrong. I would like to try other loadings and calibers from magtech in the future. Thanks Brownells the edge memberships rocks!

1 year agoThis is the lowest recoil ammo you can shoot in a 38/357 revolver. Great for beginners and recoil sensitive people. Some people are recoil sensitive due to age or physical problems (like my brothers spinal surgeries). This ammo turns a S&W airweight into a fun plinking gun. Just remember that all lead bullets smoke when fired. This ammo would be properly classified as 38 short colt. Magtech wisely called it 38 special short so people know you can shoot it in 38/357 revolvers.

1 year agoTo be completely honest I haven't even shot 1 round yet. I was just happy to find .38 ammo under $1.00 a round. I haven't been able to find .38 ammo at this price in well over a year so if it continues to drop in price and get back to normal I will be more than willing to rate and give what I'm sure will be a great review. Thank you for the great service
