2 years agoExtremely well made and finished rifle. Hats off to the designers and gunsmiths at Marlin Firearms. All the best!

2 years agoSights are right on, and the fit and finish is good. Except for where the stock meets the action there's a little miss match. Action is smooth, and cycles well fast or slow.

2 years agoFrom the box the SBL has a decided wow factor with its grey laminate furniture and stainless steel metalwork. This being a short, compact, heavy-hitting and fast handling carbine.

1 year agoAlways a fan of both ruger and marlin, and grab a gun too for that matter. But shame on you for selling it $1300 over msrp. Those prices on gun broker are one thing, but for a regular dealer/distributor to gouge like that is unacceptable.

1 year agoEverything about the Ruger Marlin is smooth. Easy loading port. Very powerful. Love everything about it.

1 year agoOut of all of my guns, the Marlin 1895sbl is my favorite!! Pure joy every time I go to range to shoot. Plus it’s always a show stopper, someone always has something nice to say when they see it.

1 year agoRuger has done not a bad job on this rifle and I'm sure with time and refinement it will be perfect (hopefully as good as a Henry). Mine is close but, the lever wasn't polished as well on the underside as on the face. The stock under bright store lights needed further buffing out. There is a very light line on the left side of the barrel that disappears up under the picatinny rail and back down again (about 1 1/2" long. You can't feel it with a fingernail but it's definitely there and there is a

1 year agoMarlin-Ruger 1895 SBL is so awesome! The refined action is so smooth. Fit and finish is so much better. I paid under retail in today's market. this one is going to be a keeper for sure. 45-70 is still hard to get but the rifle shoot's so well. Love the customization! Couldn't be happier!!!

1 year agoJust purchased this Ruger built Marlin. I have been a Marlin fan for many years. This rifle is top quality! It’s a workhorse and it looks and feels awesome! Very impressed with how it functions and how it looks! This will be kept and passed on to my son.

1 year agoThe Ruger-Made Marlin is incredible. They did everything right when establishing their take on these rifles. Excited for the other models to be released!

1 year agoWow, what can I say! I love the wood work and contrast with the stainless receiver and barrel! Mine was bought before Ruger took over. Since my hands are kinda big, I really enjoy having the bigger loop rather than the standard loop on my 30-30. Having shot roughly 300 rounds though it, I can say it is a very serious brute and I'm glad I'm not on the other end! You can't go wrong with this one.

1 year agoBought this one new in 1999- early 2000, best all around ( brush gun) on anything a hunter would encounter an with the right ammo there's not much to knock down anything an end the hunt with a single shot with this one, thanks, and l still have it

1 year agoBought this gun a few years ago I didn’t pay anywhere near what your asking brand new I think I’ll keep it if your asking over 2,00,00 for it

1 year agoLove the rifle, so much that I purchased two of them. I have not had a chance to try it on the range yet but hopefully soon. I have been working on building a display box for one of them. Our living room is designed with a western theme and this will be the final piece of the puzzle.

1 year agoArrived as expected. Ruger Marlin, is a work of art. Action a little stiff, but after cycling it a several hundred times has smooth out some of the stiffness. haven’t shot it yet but looking forward to it.

1 year agoThis rifle is smooth firing and mine has very good quality fitment, and tolerances. Great rifle, but the price hurts the wallet.
