Mossberg 590 Shockwave 7 Shot 12 Gauge Pump-Action Shotgun – 50639

Bought my shockwave last summer of 2019 and enjoyed shooting it. I used a federal shorty shotshells and i can put 10 rounds on it. Just dont forget to buy OPSol Insert so that the small rounds will feed properly. Also a very nice home defense firearm.

Fun to shoot, but right out of the box every 3rd or 4th shell would just fall out the bottom instead of feeding into the chamber. Contacted Mossberg and was told that I’ll have to ship the gun to Virden for any warranty service (at my expense). I have to figure out if it’s cheaper to ship the gun to and from Virden or pay a local gunsmith to have a look at it. I’ll buy the Remington next time.

Excellent home defense shotgun for someone who has good familiarty and experience with 12 gauge shotgun use. this is not intended for a beginner or first time shotgun buyer. to be effective, it is a good idea to install and light/laser to this firearm for better accuracy.

Very good compact shotGun option. Price was excellent. Wish i would have paid attention to the barrel length as i was looking for the one with the 14 inch barrel. Im still happy with my PURCHASE, at least i can load more ammo into it now.

NOT SURE i HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED THIS LEVEL OF ON-LINE SERVICE. i HAD BEEN SALIVATING OVER THIS GUN FROM SOME TIME AND ONCE THE "PRODUCTS BACK IN STOCK" ALERT HIT MY EMAIL, i MADE THE PURCHASE. dAYS LATER i WAS AT MY ffl, TOOK CARE OF BUSINESS AND BROUGHT MY NEW BABY HOME.

Had a 20ga liked it so much bought the 12. Little tougher to handle but sure do like what it does with #4 buck shot.

Very similar to the Remington 870 WITSEC shotgun I used for building entries when I was a Deputy US Marshal. I’m very happy with this purchase.

After a few rounds I got used to the recoil in my wrist instead of my shoulder. The more I fire it, the more I like it. I recommend this shotgun for home defense.

excellent shotgun. Mossberg is well known for their excellent products. I replaced the stock with a MAGPUL SGA. I am very satisfied with Mossberg.

Quality built, light weight, rugged and easy to handle. Small size makes it easy to counsel in small spaces in our home.

Mossberg, cause it is "versatile tough dependable". This model is a excellent choice, nothing compares to a good pump action 12ga. And this one of the best.
