1 year agoHave not shot my Mossberg 835 yet but just by appearance I give it 4 stars, I love it, the camo has a great pattern, love the short turkey barrel and the cantilever rifled slug barrel, seems like a great multi-purpose gun, just what I wanted.

1 year agowhile a Very Versatile Shotgun, have dedicated it to the required sabot slugs for the rifled barrel with a nikon scope on the canterlever rail, and turkey shells for the choked barrel with a red-dot tapped into a picatinny rail mounted into the tapped holes that swaps out easily when the rifled barrel is restored. Hornaday SST shoot flat as ever, and touches holes at 100yds I had to shorten stock and added a limbsaver for my LOP, and still feel quite a punch with 3.5" shells . . ..

1 year agoBought this 2 years ago, has a very nice weight, comes with plenty of chokes for hunting and looks amazing. After a good oiling, went trap shooting, and failed to eject 2 to 3 rounds everytime. I should have took it back to Field and stream then but didn't. Went to the range a few months later, same thing again. Gun hasn't been through even 50 shells, and has major problems ejecting shells. Going to try Mossberg Customer service, will update how that goes.
